People are angry over this, and rightfully so. Though it's quite funny that the response is to vote Trump out but vote Joe Biden who voted against Gay Marriage in 1996. What sense does that make?

I guess Biden has changed his views from 25 yrs ago and he is believable perhaps?

It doesn't change anything. You have to realise that the system is so corrupt that it's rotting in front of your eyes. Politicians are accountable only to big money that supports them. Legalisation on a whim is far from democracy.

Did you not all feel the urge to run them all out of their seats after they literally stole trillions just 2-3 months ago without disclosing where exactly it went (your trillions, mind you), while more than 40 million people lost their jobs? Everything is in the shitter but somehow Dow index is having a party of a lifetime? That's not the economy, it's their bulging pockets, about to burst.

Oh and the media from all sides is just as bad. All the were interested were more killings, beatings, looting, smashing, tear gas, now statues.

Nobody is covering protest that is actually still going on.

Corona virus? 300,000 people got infected and 20,000 more died since they stopped talking about it and there's no end in sight.

absolutely ridiculous - and completely unethical that someone could be refused health care on the basis of their sexuality or gender

you say its funny that the response is to vote in biden but that's the nature of your 2 party system - that you have to vote for the lesser of 2 evils and trump has just proven that he is the more immediate threat to LGBTQIA+ rights

police are suggesting there's no cameras outside city hall at all which is patently ridiculous

and were quick to rule it a suicide almost immediately despite it being clearly not a suicide

it's an area notoriously racist and notable for being a hotbed of KKK so im not surprised really

but its shocking that this is still happening in the US in 2020 - and the fact that Rand Paul refuses to sign into law the anti-lynching laws that make it a hate crime

But applying democrat standards to their own candidate, because Biden voted against something that's politically correct today 25 years ago it's time to cancel Joe Biden.

Like they will dig deep to find stuff from 20-25 years ago in someone's past that doesn't fit with 2020 standards but their candidates past can't be digged up. IE... Brett Kavanagh's accuser must be believed but Biden's accuser is lying. I'm just applying the same standard they want to set to their own candidates.

There are lots of things that should have been changed, but that's what happens when the US people keep voting the same republican and Democrat senators who have done nothing in the decades they been an elected official.

Right now they're State TV. Disinformation and conspiracy theories are amplified by them on a daily basis. They need to hold on to their base which is pretty much the President's base. The only way they hold on is by minimizing the incompetence of POTUS and then projecting all his terrible qualities to the Dems. The base buys it hook, line and sinker because they're preconditioned and predisposed to believing this propaganda. This is not just my opinion but shared by most people in the country. They were pulled off the air in the UK for the same shenanigans, but in the US they have their own party and President running rough shod.

im not seeing the double standards you're suggesting are happening

people have been believing biden's accuser but the media from the beginning has been in biden's corner for the democratic nomination so that's not happening

that doesnt mean that the same people believing kavanaugh's victims don't suddenly believe biden's victims

but if we're talking purely on policy - the difference is pretty clear - biden did some stuff that people dont like throughout his senate career in the last century - but he's currently the least bad option in your two horse race

the one thing i will agree with sami on (and it pains me to say this) but your political system is built to maintain the establishment - it's too difficult for a third party to ever be relevant and so battles have to be fought twice - it's why in the US, major political ideas only come about through mass movements because only mainstream ideas ever gain popularity
