We got an update on Dobbins. He suffered a knee sprain that will cause him to miss the Chargers game against Atlanta and after that, they don't know when he'll be back.
Dobbins really was having a good year too but like here in Baltimore, injuries strike him again.
I swear I had no idea! I thought you were a huge fan LMAO.Also every time I see Diontae Johnson I'm just infuriated
Shout out Tre White man. Its night and day. You can see what CB play is supposed to look like from him. And he's not even fully back probably. He, Marlon and Nate gotta be the staples.

Its still insane to me we had to bench Marcus Williams.Yeah and Stephens is settling into his new hybrid Db role. We also saw Hamilton taking his occasional shots in the box. Now that rotation is finally settled it feels like Orr is starting to have fun with the different looks and variations. He put a lot of blitzes on tape for the Eagles and I'm sure he's got more.
tell me about it. This one truly boggles my mind. I have to think there is something else going on with him.Its still insane to me we had to bench Marcus Williams.

especially not that Kohler is hurtDon't know what your issue with him is, if there's an injury come playoff time to any of our top 3 Wr's we're gonna be very glad that guy has spent 2 months in the fold. But I do have a gripe where he's getting targets and Likely isn't getting any. Are we saving the Likely plays for later? I dunno, I need more Likely.

I don't think it's unfair to say that Orr is pretty fucking junior as a coordinator, but I believe there are certain things that are worthy of praise and actually high praise at that.there was a blitz/stunt late in the game that was beautiful - cant remember when it was or what the specifics of it were - but i remember remarking at the way it was designed and executed
it's definitely hurt this defence that the bye is so late - they've had to do a bunch of adjusting on the fly - but i really hope we start to see the defence kick on after the bye now that it's stacked 2 decent games in a row
was it the stunt with Van Noy getting the sack? The twist?there was a blitz/stunt late in the game that was beautiful - cant remember when it was or what the specifics of it were - but i remember remarking at the way it was designed and executed

Putting pride aside will always get applause from me, especially with Harbaugh being the head coach, a guy who’s notoriously prideful.I don't think it's unfair to say that Orr is pretty fucking junior as a coordinator, but I believe there are certain things that are worthy of praise and actually high praise at that.
1) Benching Marcus Williams and Eddie Jackson. That takes balls man. I don't have to explain why. If it was Orr that called that shot and battled the subsequent lockeroom issues, that's my guy right there. The play was completely unnaceptable.
2) He's very clearly extremely serious, takes things personally, doesn't say things are better than they are, and (i believe) asked for help, leading to the Pees signing. Asking for help and not having your pride hold you back is another grown man move.
I really like Orr the person and I even have somewhat high hopes for Orr the DC at some point in the near-ish future based on the above. If you're really committed, and willing to explore every avenue like benching your superstar players and getting extra outside advice, I think you can go far.
Each game helps to remove more and more of that junior status. He's really gotta continue to come on as the year finishes if we're to have a shot in the postseason
Well said. It's the big 2 questions.Putting pride aside will always get applause from me, especially with Harbaugh being the head coach, a guy who’s notoriously prideful.
Marcus Williams legitimately looked like a high school player out there, he looked completely out of his league every single week, and with that guy on the field you can completely forget about any shot at making a run, he won’t allow it, when you have that guy at safety, and Stephens at cb, every offense you play knows that they only need 2 reads, go for six by going deep middle and if Williams just so happens to make the right read, target Stephens, and this tactic worked to perfection for every offense we faced.
If ardarius and Hamilton can be as good a tandem as we hope, we can actually start having some hope for this season.
I still worry that monken/harbs/lamar shit the bed in the playoffs, it feels inevitable, but if they can get over whatever tf it is that makes them do it, then the defense we’ve seen the last 2 weeks can do enough to make a run.
Damn shame that in Lamar’s 7th season we’re still so damn unsure about what this team can be because they just show up some days looking like a completely different teamWell said. It's the big 2 questions.
Can the new defensive regime keep it up?
Can Lamar, Monken, and Harbs get out of there own heads?
If yes and yes it's an easy SB. If either one is no, you've got no chance.

I would like to see lamar scramble when he has room in front and he should set that tone early in games.. that automatically changes a defenders mental for the rest of game.Well said. It's the big 2 questions.

Disgustingi think tomlin's right in a way - we like to be the bully but can't always handle it when someone comes in and tries to bully us back
this team can dominate anyone and often does dominate, they can also lose to almost anyone in the most self-imploding kinds of ways
Lamars single biggest weakness, ironically, has to do with his legs and running ability. He just won’t take those scramble yards when they’re there. Pat Mahomes will break a game by scrambling for a crucial first down time and time again, everything’s covered, there’s pressure, he slips out and scrambles for 20, and he’ll do it again. Lamar can have the same situation and he’ll scramble himself into a sack or throwaway because he just has to fucking prove something about his arm.I would like to see lamar scramble when he has room in front and he should set that tone early in games.. that automatically changes a defenders mental for the rest of game.
