Does his draft stock fall though because as we know injuries kill draft stock all the time. This could be a blessing for him as he could fall to a better team not named the Bengals or Dolphins. If Carolina or Tennessee wanted to make a bold move up the draft as he falls to get him, etc. He might be better off returning just so he can shake off any injury concerns prior to the 2021 Draft. Teams will be focused on his hip injury throughout the combine and pro days, leading up to the 2020 Draft.
not only that, if he does in fact fall, he has a better chance of landing on a more talented team.i suppose if he backs himself he's a year earlier to his 2nd contract (and if he gets really unlucky - and this is unlikely - and falls out of the 1st he still gets the insurance money and he gets to the open market another year earlier)
only thing is if he holds out a year he may get a lot more money earlier because of the new cba...
