The Good, The Bad and the Yucs

When you are a run first team, you cannot expect to blowing people out, that is just the nature of the beast

Don’t need to blow anybody out, just need to score more points then they do.

Over the past 5 games we’ve played teams with rush defenses ranked 25th or lower. We’ve won 4 of those. Next week will be a good test. The Chargers are ranked #9 right now against the run.

I think that game had some home cooking from the referees. Patriots didn’t play well but get out of here!

Still hope for the Saints to beat them. We are certainly capable of winning out if we pull an upset next week

Remember the NFL was so desperate to have ONE team in LA, they took TWO teams and put them in LA. Don't think for a second they wouldn't try to guarantee an all LA Super Bowl. So expect some more nonsense calls when we try to ruin the NFL's plans. They haven't forgiven us for doing that in 2012.

Speaking of officiating, our game today was poorly officiated IMO. I’m very sick of the bad officiating here.

Hi everyone! Glad we won! I didn't get to watch at all. Would somebody mind giving a quick recap? Thanks so much

Remember how we used to abandon the run with Flacco at QB? Today we abandoned the pass. We won one of the most boring games I've watched in recent memory. But we won, that's all that matters.

Their points came from:
-3rd & 20
-Lamar & Gus fumble
-Cyrus's muffed punt

Other from that, our defense played lights out against a top 5 offense (both in overall and passing). Our running game continued to shine in terrible weather.

The rain wasn't as bad as it looked, but still sucked. Good vibe and wish attendance was higher, but definitely understand why people would sit this one out. Marlon balled out and always fun to watch the CB match ups close up.

Was the 3 and 20 a breakdown or was it just a good play? Was the lamar/gus fumble another bad read option mistake? Or they both fumbled

It must have all went south then because it was POURING 15 minutes away in Glen Burnie until halftime

It was more of a breakdown. Jameis did a good job scrambling to buy more time but he flung that rock for a 50 or 60 yard play to Mike Evans when Jimmy got caught lacking. MAYBE they were running a zone, but IDK.

As for the fumble, it seemed more of a Lamar fumble than a Gus fumble, but yes it was from a read option.

Aside from the 2 really bad passes when it was raining hard, did lamar have his best game today?
You know something? I think it's up there. No INTs (should've had one). Had some nice intermediate throws and Smokey failed him with that easy drop.

Did Bozeman start the 1st half at left guard or was he just in for a series? I remember seeing him there at one point, but then Hurst was playing in the 2nd half.
