Yes, do you remember when Billick was tied to or paired with Boller, and then look what happened to that head coach? I am still unsure if Boller was Ozzie's or Billick's baby, i.e., who drafted the bust.

I'm not 100% sure but it seemed Billick was the one hammering the table for him.

pretty damning indictment of the receivers - note this stat isnt incompletions it's drops of "catchable balls" so Lamar's low completion % doesn't affect these results

3rd straight year of a complete rebuild at wr methinks
Interesting stat thanks for posting this. I decided to dig further into catch rates and I found this comparison: averageDepthofTarget vs. Catch % it plots all WR and TE's with >40 targets. Dorsett seems to be a cheap and valuable FA.

tbh I wanted a young bright mind, so I'm a bit disappointed. But i don't know him, what's his track record?
From the article: "Culley spent the past two seasons as the Buffalo Bills' quarterbacks coach and was a longtime NFL assistant coaching wide receivers under Andy Reid with the Philadelphia Eagles (1990-2012) and Kansas City Chiefs (2013-16). Culley also previously coached wide receivers for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1996-1998) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1994-1995)."

Not that it should be hard or anything, but I'll be happy as long as he's better than Engram.

Anything noteworthy from the presser? My manager randomly popped in around the same time so I couldn't watch it. Fucking scumbag POS....lol

Honestly I normally enjoy Eric’s pressers looking for snippets but there was nothing majorly eye-opening

He was being purposefully very vague

The more interesting stuff was about his personal journey to this point than anything pertaining to the off-season

Oh well....hopefully we get some good stuff out of the Bisciotti presser (whenever they decide to do it).

EdC: What we learned over the years is a WR has to catch the ball first and foremost. Then fast, good route runner, physical.
But we still draft guys like Lasley, Scott, Moore and Perriman.
But he added they're now looking for WR who are also capable blockers.

If that's the case...... just draft another TE this year and split him out wide.
