where did you see this report?Saw a report that we'll pursue Mathieu. My choice is still Amos, but I would understand that move. A little pissed too, considering that's who I wanted when he was coming out and we decided on taking Elam in the first and Brown in the second. Real smooth, Ozzie...
I also wanted tyrann.. but idk if its cause of his injury or what but last season wasnt his best.Saw a report that we'll pursue Mathieu. My choice is still Amos, but I would understand that move. "EWWWWW" I'm dead lololololol.
Or that fuckin 3rd and 20+ against the chiefs where he got fuckin obliterated and allowed them to score their first points and take momentumThat missed tackle in that Bears game serves as a great example.
I don't think it is so much the Weddle cut but more a reaction to the state of the defense. I think individually these are all fairly smart moves, especially long term, but I also think this defense could look a lot different next year. CJ, Weddle, Suggs, ZS, and Jimmy Smith all potentially going leaves some holes to fill, especially from a leadership standpoint. And then we need to bring in a lot of help for the offense? Not sure that all is going to happen this year.

I just don’t know who we expect to play free safety. Chuck Clark maybe? Or we go after someone?
We have a ton of cap compared to the past 5 year, this might be one of the best safety FA markets ever, bound to be someone like lamarcus joyner who goes under the radar and we could snag someone like himI just don’t know who we expect to play free safety. Chuck Clark maybe? Or we go after someone?
To be fair, Mathieu was draped in red flags for off the field stuff.Saw a report that we'll pursue Mathieu. My choice is still Amos, but I would understand that move. Joyner is my guy, I always saw mathieu as more of a dimebacker/nickel, like a super high end third safety you use like a Swiss Army knife/.. he’s not who I’d want most for usWe have a ton of cap compared to the past 5 year, this might be one of the best safety FA markets ever, bound to be someone like lamarcus joyner who goes under the radar and we could snag someone like him
I would cream if we could get joyner for like 5-8 a year for 3-4 yearsJoyner is my guy, I always saw mathieu as more of a dimebacker/nickel, like a super high end third safety you use like a Swiss Army knife/.. he’s not who I’d want most for us
