Next Up: @ Chiefs

Ugh how the fuck are we in the biggest game of the weekend and stuck with Dan Fouts. Dude is absolute garbage.

Im looking for Haydn Hurst to have a big game vs. Chiefs. He's open a lot vs. Arizona and with defenses keying on Marquise and mark, I think we'll be able to get a shot play (among others) set up for Haydn.

It is vital that Hurst can show he can play for numerous reasons. If Hurst and Boykin can show they can ball, it will be massive for our entire offense.

I really think we gotta get hurst more involved in a lot of ways. We need to have him motion on nearly every play, make him block out of motions, motion into flat passes, motion out then back into the backfield for blocking or backfield routes, hit him while he’s moving on routes and let him run but set up these open spaces by indicating that motion by hurst=block and zone read, those zone reads turn into RPOs and hurst is being avoided by defenders because they think he’s a blocker and he’s wide open moving full speed

Every opportunity Hurst has had he's capitalized on. No reason to believe if he's open and Lamar sees him open, he's not going to make that big play. He's been pretty consistent except he hasn't had the chemistry with Lamar like Mandrews does.

Anybody else feeling Jaleel Scott for this game? He's the X-factor. No regular season tape on him, never been active the first 2 games. So won't be studied a lot imo. So put him out there and let him make plays like he did in preseason.

Guess what team is the Ravens @ Chiefs game.

Ravens vs. Chiefs broadcast map

It’s beautiful

When two MVP candidates square off on Sunday, the nation will be watching. The 506sports.combroadcast map has been released and. . . it’s beautiful.

That’s right, from the tip of Washington to the bottom of Texas, the West will be watching Lamar Jackson battle it out against Patrick Mahomes.

Hell, half of the east coast will be tuning in, too. Only New York and above are missing the game to witness Tom Brady yet again eviscerate the Jets.

Once again, Louisville, Kentucky, is an island as the rest of the surrounding areas are exclusively other games. They love their former Cardinal.

As for the broadcasters, I’m a fan of Eagle and Fouts. They work well and they call a good game. This will be a fun one.
Of course, I'm in West NC ...

This is a game I am really nervous about. It is in Arrowhead and we are due for a bad game. Ravens have never consistently played good games although Lamar Jackson seems to buck that trend. So, we'll see. The fact that we barely got beat by a prayer throw by Mahomes will have them motivated too. Now that they've claimed Senat with the only intention of gathering intelligence about Roman's run schemes, I don't know what to make of this game. I hope we come away with a victory because we need this for confidence for the rest of the year.
Personally, I just think it is critical for us to be right there with them at the end. If we compete and as long as we don't either get soundly beaten or lose a close game based on some terrible gaffe, I think our confidence will be fine.

From a fan standpoint, this is an L when reviewing schedule and determining the teams season record. A win here IMO is gravy. It is the next 3 (all division opponents) ESPECIALLY the Browns at home that must be won. Drop this and win the next 3 and I'll be overjoyed. Win this and follow-up with a loss v. the Browns and that will be far less positive outcome.

Agree with this. Hayden's volume is down (and for good reason with what Andrews has earned), but when teams start keying in on Mark and Hollywood, I think we'll suddenly start noticing Hurst a lot.

I actually think we can win this and I don’t expect a blowout. I know there’s crowd noise but that affects the defense as much as the offense and their defense isn’t legendary or anything. I think elite defenses with a lot of experience working together and chemistry can handle the crowd noise but I think crowd noise hurts defenses without a ton of chemistry. That’s why I feel like we struggled this past Sunday—crowd noise was high and we have a lot of new pieces back there.

That combined with our offense and I don’t think our offense has to be negatively impacted by the noise because Lamar is a threat to run the ball on any play and take it to the house. I’m feeling good for this game

Chiefs fans on social media have been so cocky lately. Humble yourselves fool. You’re just going to choke again in the playoffs. It’s inevitable

I badly want us to win this game. I really want it because that would be a major statement game. Some won't give us the credit with Hill being out but I don't care, it would be a major boost and if we win this game it would definitely have major implications down the road. We still have many games to go after this one but this could be a major game changer.
