nah if they turned that down i dont see us going any higher...
that's a 1st round pick, last year's 1st round pick and a 2nd round pick - that's insane capital - id be absolutely flabbergasted if we were willing to part with more than that

frankly im surprised we supposedly offered that much

We should be done. That's a fair offer since we're gonna be the ones doling out the big contract while they get a 4 yr controllable player and 2 high draft pick rookie contracts. Sorry cant butter their bread no more.

I proposed a deal earlier where I'd give them a 1st and 2nd but I also wanted them to flip a low rd pick in return. The deal they offered was way beyond sweeter. Jax got a player that don't want to play for them and he's at the end of his rookie deal (does have 5th yr option) so take it or leave it.

I think Jacksonville just playing a waiting game to see if anyone increases their offer closer to the trade deadline unless things worsen.

I feel teams have lost the incentive to increase the offer with that psycho getting released by the Patriots. Does Jax even have the cap to extend Ramsey?

EDIT: OTC says they're in the red 10+ mil.

EDIT EDIT: The can save big money with a few cuts.

If it was true, which I doubt it, we’ll have to swap Hayden for another 1st. I’d still do it, but take out that 2nd and make it a 3rd or 4th

Eh, I don’t blame their GM now that I think about it. We’d be trying to sell Hayden as a 1st when he’s 25 or 26. I know that front office is stupid, but they’re not THAT stupid. We’d have to up it to two 1sts (which I’d do) and take out Hayden. They can’t have him at that point lol

Knowing EDC I think he’ll sit pretty knowing no team is going to match that kind of offer.
