Not so sure we will be bringing Jimmy back. He would have to want to come back on a discount. Carr we still have another option on and his flexibility is a strength. QB's also only have around 60 qbr against him, so he is still doing well and mostly out of position. I agree that Peters is a priority.
One interesting thing that Ken McKusick said is he had a conversation with cap guru Brian McFarland and he said it's possible Pierce could be less than what we think and if that were the case, we could end up franchising Peters and then working out a long term extension with him.
I believe the order of extensions is as follows:
- Ronnie Stanley is a must this offseason as he goes into his 5th year option next year. (blank check)
- Extending Peters or Franchise and extend
- Humphreys 5th year option would be 21-22 season, if we can extend him early that would be a good idea as well (blank check)
Only extend Pierce or Judon if reasonable
