Let's say Suggs and the Cardinals beat the Steelers and we beat Buffalo. Can we officially clinch the AFC North next week?
This is the first time I can remember that we had more than a solid chance to be the #1 seed at this point of the season. There will be no loss of focus.I honestly don’t fear the bills at all.
I fear the classic trap game scenario where we win a tight one against a tough opponent and then go on the road against a weaker but still playoff bound team, but that would imply that we come out flat and unfocused and cough one up.
My only fear is basically the lingering Flacco effect, which so far has been an irrational fear, since this team has proven every time that they are focused and busting their asses to win every game
Here's an official update from Joe Ferreira. Playoff Berth and AFC North Title can be clinched this week. So Come on Sizzle, give us one more favor.
On Monday Night Football, while we were dismantling the Rams, the crew mused what AFC team is a good match for the Ravens. I was thinking it really might be the Bills. They've got a solid D and an increasingly dangerous offense.
This is a huge game for us. I know it is hard to fathom because they are the Bills, but they could pose a similar threat to the 1 seed or bye week if they beat us and then were able to beat the Pats and win the division. So while they are not in quite the same position as the Pats and KC to threaten us, they are still a threat in that capacity until we take them out.
As Harbaugh said, with each week and each win, the next win becomes that much more critical, because the stakes are higher.
I would’ve agreed with you up until this season. I think you have Gilmore and Humphrey in their own class of elite and the rest of the corners in the league are under themI think the Bills, talent wise are underrated as hell. They're really talented.
and yes, I'd still have taken tre white over humphrey but i'm happy with humph.

And that’s why I give Humphrey and Gilmore such high respect, their entire defenses scheme rest on their shoulders just about. If Gilmore went down for the patriots they wouldn’t win a game. If the ravens lost Humphrey instead of jimmy in week 1, we definitely lose to the Steelers and likely cough up another one.the 49ers duo's been pretty great tbf - witherspoon has been like a shadow when healthy and richard sherman has been playing at an all-pro level
but i think this year sherman and gillmore are the only guys up there with humphrey although tredavious white has had an awesome season also this year
ill be honest though they're all in the perfect schemes for them - i will say this also - humphrey and gillmore are the guys who get put in the most challenging spots by their scheme because of the way their DCs like to blitz and leave them on islands consistently - sherman's in the perfect system for him where he doesnt do a huge amount of man or shadowing and white's not left in the same difficult spots as the others either but he is given a bit more licence to take risks
I used to pick Gilmore 3 years in a row for draft a franchise game back when he was a Bill. And that’s why I give Humphrey and Gilmore such high respect, their entire defenses scheme rest on their shoulders just about. Just went browsing a Bills forum a little - they seem to be more realistic than others.
However, they are also posting recipes on "how to stop Lamar". Nobody yet figured it's not about stopping Lamar, it's about stopping the Ravens offense, which at this point really seems like wishful thinking.
Same all-same all.Any recipes we haven’t heard before?
From what I’ve seen it’s just the simple task of:Any recipes we haven’t heard before?

And Tony Jefferson 2 straight years.
And I remember you crying when I stole Joe in front of you. that was before ACL season.
They have been improving and played very well on Thanksgiving. They'll have long rest and are at home. We've known their defense to be good, but their offense is showing signs of being pretty effective. Not to downplay the Bills because they’re still professionals, but they’ve only beaten ONE team this season that was barely above .500 (Dallas). Their schedule has been a complete cakewalk. Any given Sunday I suppose
It is funny that guys like Pete Carroll, Bill Belichick, Romeo Crennel and Wade Phillips couldn't figure out how to stop him ... but fans of our opponents will be more than happy offer their suggestions. Shrager said "If those dudes don't know how to stop him, don't ask me, I'm not going to have the answer".Just went browsing a Bills forum a little - they seem to be more realistic than others.

Actually, there is one that mentioned how DE's have to stay disciplined, keep the edge and not let Lamar round it.Any recipes we haven’t heard before?
Assignment football is the buzz word you hear week after week. Play gap sound is another cliche we hear as well. Have a spy that can follow Lamar and seal the edge is the third. All recipes created by America's worst cooks.Any recipes we haven’t heard before?
