I feel like we play right into KCs weaknesses. They cant run the ball and although their defense has improved, they haven't played anyone to note in the second half of the season.

Also we arent the same team when they beat us week 3. My only worry is Suggs, but might as well let his last game in the NFL be in Baltimore. Seems fitting

Gus needs a big increase in workload in the postseason.

Ingram has obviously been excellent, he’s a big play waiting to happen in this offense, he churns out and converts on second efforts a lot, but it feels like we move more consistently when gus is featured a lot.

Championship mentality.

Peters has a bit of a reputation as being hard to get along with but I think he fits with this group nicely. He got his payday ... we’ll see but I think he’s one to not rest on that but will work to prove he’s worth it.

This win feels great because despite resting some starters I feel like we really maintained momentum.

The rest will do us good across the board. The blockers will be exploding with energy. The D will be flying to the ball. Our skill players will be fresh and Lamar will be greased lightening.

First we need to concern ourselves with the possibility of seeing the Titans. Our Run D hasn’t been great and Henry is running people over. I think they are going to be more than NE can handle.

If they come to the Bank no more of this arm tackling bullshit. Set the damn edge and hit hard.

At least if the Titans come to the Bank and manage to get a lead then we should be able to carve up that Pees prevent defense in the 2nd half. Henry is definitely a concern, but as long as we can prevent him from getting outside then I think we can swarm to him well enough.

im kind of looking at Gus and hoping that he ends up helping us to a super bowl run like a souped up version of bernard pierce in our last super bowl run

people have rightly paid a lot of attention to the offseason work that lamar did but the physical work that gus put in should also be acknowledged - he's got himself to the optimum playing weight for his style and it's paid dividends he looks like a much better back this year

interestingly last year he had 137 attempts for 718 yards (as the lead back for 6 games)
this year he had 133 attempts for 711 yards (lead back for 1 game)

for his career now he's had 2 seasons where his YPC is over 5.2 which is absurd over that amount of work

Gus is an awesome #2 back

tbf to peters that reputation followed him from KC to LA but by all accounts he was a great teammate on that Rams team and they had no problems with him as a character

Ingram is more of a threat as a pass catcher than Edwards. We need to put more wrinkles in, but I'd say to keep the carries similar.

definitely a great find and not just a jag like some proclaimed last year.

How does the injury report look for the first playoff game? I think Ingram and Stanley are our only major concerns.

and Ingram and Stanley will both be healthy enough to play. Ingram only had a calf strain and Stanley played in week 16.
