Its all fun in games until you talk smack one too many times and arent even on the field to back it up.

To the point it becomes a damn joke and mockery. I prefer Lamar Jackson's "No one cares work harder mindset".

And I don't really care for your opinions whether you say I sound ridiculous or not. Mark Ingram may not have jinxed us but he set us up as one of the biggest jokes in the league right now and it's not like he had a torn ACL yesterday. Dude was no where to be found.

If I hear big truss one more damn time from a non Ravens fan...
I prefer Lamar Jackson's "no one cares work harder mindset" also, but lets not take away how important Mark Ingram was both on and off the field this year and it wasn't his fault we lost the game, it was everyones fault, from Lamar to WR/TE in drops to the defense and everywhere in between. The titans beat us. It's not the first time a favorite has lost and it won't be the last time. I understand you are upset, we all are, but this team has a bright future ahead and we should be a competitor for many years.

jinx us, jinx us. Do you know how ridiculous you sound. BTW, where were you when we were winning. It got silent after the Browns game. Wondered where you were.
And I remember that Browns game. Go look back at all the haters saying "Fire Harbaugh" " Seasons over!" You can find my post in there LOL'ing all the haters saying the season was over after week 4. Haha it was a shtshow, and all I could do was laugh.

Important? Not really. A good RB yes but I can guarantee you can plug and play nearly any RB next to Lamar and have similar success.

Who is more important to the Ravens rushing success? Ingram or Jackson?

You act as if we have never had 1000 yard rushers/ pro bowl RBs beforec of running the ball. Remember when Justin Forsett ran for 1200 yards?

Mark Ingram is a good RB but when we needed him most he was no good.

When asked about Ingram's status Harbaugh said "Ingram could have played against the Steelers" and was a game time decision. So I don't want to hear excuses. Kevin Durant had a far worse calf injury and gutted it out playing his heart out nearly swaying the outcome of the tough Finals game until he tore his Achilles. Different sport but still Mark Ingram should have just been inactive yesterday, and Gus given more opportunities.

I dont want to hear about game script either, how many times did he talk smack about being A receiving back. "Recep-Back!!!" "big truss".

All that sht talk has to stop. Clearly he aint no receiving back because N.O. replaced him with Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray.

omg, your putting words in my mouth. Ingram was a big part of our offense and Ingram has been a 1000 yard back on both teams he has played for, but of course Jackson makes things easier on him and everyone else, including the offensive line. I never said he didn't. I do disagree that we could plug almost any running back into our scheme and make it work. That is far from the truth.

Ingram had reinjured his leg during practice and during the game so he was far from 100% but I believe Edwards should have had more than 3 carries for the entire game as well. We got away from running the ball too soon, without question. After seeing Ingram yesterday I agree with you about him being inactive. At the very least have edwards as the primary back.

No ingram isn't a receiving back, but he is a back that has the ability to catch the ball, unlike some backs in this league. He also has better hands than Edwards, although Edwards did improve his hands a bit this season. Ingram is also better than Murray.

You think Mark Ingram was important to our teams running success and I dont really agree. Hes good but it's a system and online that works. Annnd Lamar out ran him soooo

Mark Ingram has never ran for more than 1100 yards in his career only 3x 1000 seasons out of 9, and has missed games due to injury in 4 of 8 years in N.O. a trend which caught up to him this year with us at the worst possible time.

He is a good runner, respect his talent but all im saying his cocky immature attitude and inability to back it up had turned us into the Laughing stock of the NFL at the moment. I understand it's not his fault we lost, but he certainly did nothing to help us win.

You can ask anyone who knew Lamar Jackson during his high school days he was always the baddest dude on the field and he used to let you hear it, but clearly he is doing everything in his power to play it cool and modest in the NFL.

But here comes Mark Ingram to kiss upto and over hype a guy who doesn't want all that anyway. I like the brotherhood theme but Mark Ingram needs to quiet down next year

1) we need a playmaking block beating thumping ILB
2) B. Williams played his heart out with great effort but he gets moved more than people let on by single blocks and he was getting moved around yesterday. This D against the run next year without Pierce is a scary proposition.
3) Defense not accustomed to playing from behind.
4) scouting report on the guy that got that got behind Marlon was that he was a deep threat with less than 100 snaps all year but that when he was on the field, he was going vertical. ( thanks to the Ken McCusick podcast). I wonder if that was at all in Marlons mind as he lined up.
5) Judon's missed tackle might have turned momentum in our favor had he made it. It's bad. It isn't as if He just tackled high. He shoulders Henry high with no effort to wrap whatsoever. Its ghastly how poor that is.

What teams have we been watching? The confidence of Mark Ingram, Marcus Peters and Co. was one of the catalysts for the 12-0 run. We lose one game to what, as I've been saying for weeks, was one of our worst match ups on paper and suddenly we blame the culture. This ain't it, chief.

Seemed like last year our focus was on improving and rebuilding oir offense around Lamar Jackson and it paid massive dividends. I see us moving to defense this off-season. Definitely agree about needing a true ILB to help stuff the run, miss Cj Mosley quite a bit.

Hopefully we retool the d-line and get back to being that consistent run defending team that never allows big runs/ 100 yard rushers.

Definitely need a few pass rushers too.

All I said was Ingram jynxed us clearly a joke and y'all take it seriously as if he brought some sort of bad swamp juju back from New Orleans.

LoL The confidence of Ingram did nothing for us yesterday and has turned us into a laughing stock and punching bag for torturous insults due to Mark Ingram's comments. I prefer Lamar Jackson's stance "No one cares work harder". Mark Ingram and others that have to consistently go out of their way to boast and brag, its fun for a little but but it makes you look like trash after an upset loss like yesterday

Commenting solely on the most recent post, which wasn't joking, so that point is also nullified.

Right. So. 12-0 run with a multitude of elite teams taken down in the process. A single loss and we should change everything that we do from the top down. It is an idea so laughably illogical that I'm at odds as to where to even begin. And the biggest confidence issue lied with the fan base. This was the worst match up for us on paper. I've mentioned that since before their Patriots game. With Ryan Tannehill and Jeffery Simmons in the line up, they were an entirely different team, not remotely resembling a 6th seed. Yet the most common expectation around was that of a blow out. We lost to a team that was a built to take us down, which would've been a stark possibility regardless of how our behavior. The only ones truly embarrassed by the loss should be embarrassed for their own overconfidence.

12-0 and absolutely ZERO to show for it. An MVP for Lamar, and a field trip to the Pro Bowl. Where was that confidence catalyst yesterday?

You can chalk up the Titans as much as you want they are a good team better than their record. Fact is we had every factor in our favor going into this matchup other than a few nagging injuries and got absolutely destroyed. We couldn't run it on them, are not built to pass therefore struggled in that area once they got up on us. It was Browns week 4 all over before we even had Marcus Peters.

But clearly like you said our players were confident right? A catalyst that lead us to 12-0 and upset all those big name teams?. Seems like that confidence was no where to be found yesterday.

We are a better team than the Titans period so maybe our players overconfidence that i was pointing to in previous posts lead them to underestimate and not prepare well enough.

Like Marlon Humphrey said we choked. Plain and simple. Seems like all they had to do was get out in front and force us into passing mode as opposed to our dominant choke hold run attack and they had us.

Overthrows, drops, missing tackles.

And we were severly out coached, as Harbaugh made a few bad decisions and some poor time management as well.

Don't act like we just lost to the 49ers or chiefs some dominant alpha. We got upset, shocked and maybe ot wss because of that so called confidence catalyst you mentioned.

Back with Flacco id say the Broncos in Denver, and the Pats in Foxboro were pretty bad matchups on paper too but yea..we
weren't an alpha #1 seed with an offense like no other

They deserved hate during the post 2012 years.
They dont deserve this kind of hate after 1 bad loss in a 14 win season.

At the end of the day there was always a chance we'd lose vs anyone of these teams ( esp on a bad day).

You're a notorious hater everyone knows it, you have a reputation and because of this historic year im sure you got real quiet all of a sudden.

So dont tell me to get over it.

When you and the majority were on here hating in the post Browns loss thread talking about "The seasons over!, fire Harbaugh, 8-8 here we come!"

I literally said "lol at all the people saying this season was over".

I clammered for us to trade for a CB preferably Jalen Ramsey, and we got Marcus Peters. I thought the key to Lamar Jacksons ceiling was he needed to improve as a passer and become the dominant force his potential could lead to and he earned an MVP as he started slinging TD passes left and right.

I love the city I wss born and raised in, love this team through good and bad. Im no hater it will take time for me to get over this loss similar to last years loss. 1 and done for 2 straight years after having more than enough of a chance especially this year to atleast win a playoff game. I know we will eventually but this was a tough one since dating back to the cundiff game.

But we are a hotter punching bag than booger McFarland rn, so it only adds insult to injury having to hear more "Big Truss!!! woo woo!!" From non Ravens fans, more in the past 24 hrs than mark ingram has said all yr

Apologize if it’s already been said but I definitely heard him audibly say that during the game after making a nice catch.

This of course makes his drop and lack of awareness that the ball was being thrown to him near the end for a sure TD a lot worse.
They weren't on the same page there, but man he sure deserves more touches. I really don't understand how he's playing 20-30% of snaps. Let's be real, he's a better receiver then Boyle and it's not really that close. Don't get me wrong, I got a lot of love for Boyle but the team needs to get Hurst more involved.

I solved it... I know why we lost it’s my fault.... I watch the game every week in my “man cave” last year for the playoff game and this year for the playoff game I watched it in my living room with my wife this is it I can not watch games in the living room or with my wife ever again

I actually said before a game was played with peters when we traded for him that I liked him more than ramsey.

Yes, the peters trade and the revamped ILB core changed things. if we hadnt made changes the seaon would have been over. at that point i said we're fucked and then we made the changes and the trade and you'll notice my tone change ( see the threads)

100% on point assessment.

I was so heated at Judon for that tackle attempt, it was so awful to the point to where I have 2nd thoughts as to how ecstatic I would be if the team brought him back. That was a backbreaking play and had Judon made a better effort there, the momentum would have shifted.

Pierce got blocked out 1v1 plenty as well and I can't say that I would be upset if he left. In games which he didn't play, including this year and last, we did a pretty good job against the run. He's always typically playing between 30-40% of snaps and I don't think his loss would be a blow. I'm desperate for a 3-tech here or difference-making defensive end like Calais Cambell.
