2020 WR Draft Thread

It’s never a bad thing to have more than 1 speedster at WR. What if Hollywood miss time due to injury.. then we’ll be grateful that a ruggs or Reagor can step in
Yes i agree but i was just worried about the blocking aspect of it. I just feel like they would be getting tossed around

Okay been watching kj halmer last 2 days and idk if the competition was good or what but dam near every thing i watched, he was legit gaining crazy separation.... this wr draft class is really nice. all have their own unique style man

Like others have stated, I too would LOVE LOVE LOVE to another speedster on this team so we can try to go toe to toe with KC through the air (make some must-watch TV in the process). HOWEVER, I do not want another Deonte Thompson. Give me a guy who's quick-footed and can run routes.

Kj hamler is stupidly explosive with his route running.

Ouch. Van jefferson is one of my favorite mid-round target. Wonder how far he falls

Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) Tweeted:
Doctors informed Florida WR Van Jefferson that he has a Jones fracture in his right foot that was found during his combine physical, per sources. Jefferson will undergo surgery next week in Green Bay with Dr. Robert Anderson. Jefferson is projected to be sidelined 6-8 weeks.

ooft - he needed a good time to cement him to actually go on day 2 and continue the momentum from the senior bowl

With all the receivers in this class this prob drops him to day 3

the timing for him is bad because he's likely not going to be able to do any workouts and definitely wont be able to do his pro-day so going to be hard for him to persuade any team that might have doubts about his speed which is literally the biggest question about him so this is a tough break

maybe a team still loves him and it only takes one but i would not be surprised if this pushes him for sure into day 3

I rewatched the top wrs again. I really like Reagor and I wish he had a better qb and OC. Who calls 50/50 jump balls when you have a speedster like Reagor?
Nonetheless he's now in my top3. 3a is Lamb and 3b Reagor

a couple of things keep him out of that top group of 3 for me but he's certainly as dynamic as any of them...

but he has some drops that come from looking up field to quick but they're still too frequent and maybe its due to his lack of production and targets but he sometimes allows CBs back into the down after he beats them - needs to get better maintaining separation and stacking downfield etc.

also wish he was a bit more consistent against press

but the common thread for all those things is consistency and that is probably at least partially attributable to that awful QB play

I definitely worry about some of his drops. Dont like big play receivers squandering big play opportunities

Jefferson with a 4.43, probably a little better than expected and people weren’t super high on him because his athleticism has been underrated from day one

aiyuk with a 4.5 is shocking, he might have taken quite a tumble with that, I was expecting sub 4.4 tbh

i think its just a long speed - he was still right up there in the vert jump (only other drill ive seen so far) - we'll have to see the broad jump and 3 cone and short shuttle etc but not worried about aiyuk yet albeit that 4.5 is unexpected

jefferson i think part of it is that his athleticism is so easy not to see because he's in the slot and can often get free releases against off coverage so its harder to gauge that speed sometimes - my only concern with jefferson at any point in this process has been the fact that he plays exclusively in the slot
