i feel pretty strongly that Dez' skillset isnt one that just rapidly diminishes with age, as long as he isnt dropping passes he should still be able to deliver a few key catches which is all we should be asking of him anyway, a couple third down and red zone conversions when lamar needs a bail out completion, boykin has proven entirely that hes incapable of it, dez on the other hand i just dont know that he cant bring an upgrade over what boykins done so far.

I fully expect something similar to early/mid 30s Boldin ie strength, blocking and contested catching to compliment Hollywoods speed.

I love this trade even if they do not extend him. Realistically if he leaves he is a 3rd round comp so it is basically just moving back 6-8 slots in the 3rd round to get an elite pass rusher in the prime of a super bowl window.
