In good news, the RB rumors are heating up today and apparently multiple teams are interested in Najee Harris, Travis Etienne, and/or Javonte Williams in round 1. Having 1 or 2 of those guys go before us (which seems like a real possibility) would really help in hopefully pushing something else down the board.

I'm not sure the year 5 option makes that big of a difference for a non-QB. Sounds great in theory, but if the player is that good, there's a good chance you're working on an extension well before that anyways. It's a nice to have, but for a team that will likely have a QB occupying a huge part of the cap, you're probably going to want the extension over the option, because you can adjust the cap hit that way.

for sure - the control is useful - but with the new CBA it got more expensive too - if your guy plays well enough, he becomes as expensive as a transition tag now - so the 5th year option is really just the ability to franchise tag without causing an escalator but you have to designate it a year before they play under it...

the dream for me is if 5 QBs, 4 LBs, 3 RBs, a DL and Greg Rousseau all go ahead of us

that would leave us with potentially the 13th best non-QB on the board (at least on my board lol)

2018 TE (Hurst and Andrews), 2019 WR (Brown and Boykin), 2020 ILB (Queen Harrison).

We've double dipped at positions in rounds 1 and 3 the last 3 drafts.
2018 TE (Hurst and Andrews), 2019 WR (Brown and Boykin), 2020 ILB (Queen Harrison).
I like it.

2017 it wasn't 1st and 3rd but we did double dip in the 2nd and 3rd on EDGE too (Bowser and Williams)

I had to pause for a second and thought:

“do I really want to waste 3 minutes of my life drafting him and continuing this unrealistic mock? Yes..yes I do.”

With the 27th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens selects... Kyle Pitts!

not a fan of wade or golston but otherwise - great draft

i'd take almost every other corner i've watched over shaun wade lol
and i think golston's all power and not much else - there's some use for that probably, especially as an edge setter but i just dont love the prospect

I literally make the pick, just to appease myself, then pick at 31, for fun, then restart lmao.

Then I never pick ardarius Washington at the end of the third, because I firmly believe he’s not gonna be there.
