Signings, Cuts, Trades

Yeah you can probably reasonably expect like 500 yards from him.
466 is his career high and that was obviously in KC's passing offense. I don't wanna be pessimistic but I'd expect no more than 250 from him in our offense.

I kinda wish we had waited for Aug 30th. I'm sure better WRs than Robinson would have been cut on the second cut down day. We just signed a guy who was one of the first 5 players cut from the Raiders.... That's a bad look

EDIT: I have come to terms with this move. It actually makes sense. He's practically free. He's durable. He's got down the field ability. No harm no foul.

Seriously? Demarcus Robinson? I had to Google him to make sure I wasn’t thinking of of allen Robinson

This singing sure fits down with our off-season greats of Seth Roberts!
Maybe some competition to jump start the current crew?

Yes he's probably right on par with what Seth Roberts was. And recall outside of his idiot drop when we couldn't afford it, he did ok in that 2019 offense. I dont love the move at all, but the guy is a durable and certainly better than Victor and the UDFAs.

Honestly all of Victor, Moore, Polk, and Bridges are probably feeling awful right now

None of them have really stood out or shine often in training camp while Proche and Wallace recover from their injuries. There situation is a bit different from Marlon Brown and Aaron Mallette back in 2013 If anyone remembers. Maybe signing Robinson lights a fire under the young receivers but it's quite possible they simply not ready just yet and probably need a year on the practice squad to adjust to The NFL.

Pat mahommes so good that watkins and robinson names used to be brought up whenever people claimed kc had all these “ weapons”… when in reality its only been kelce and hill..

If dobbins is healthy and if likely really is pretty good.. we should do well enough to win us a playoff game or 2, long as its not bills or chargers.. i think we dnt have enough experience to actually win the big one this season

Not liking this. Bro this scrub better be behind Proche and Duvernay to start the year. If they suck then give him a shot but I swear if he comes in as WR2 I'ma lose it

He’s a complementary depth piece who adds a different skillset to the group - not a major needle-mover in terms of blowing you away but he’s a taller faster receiver who’s able to stretch the field vertically from the outside - probably more of a Tylan Wallace replacement/Devin duvernay competition than a James proche replacement

That's what I was wondering after reading some of these posts. Wallace must not be panning out on offense.

No you're totally right. I calmed down about 5 minutes after I posted that

Robinson provides speed and is most likely competing for WR 3 or 4 in our offense. Depending on the price this is a decent signing and it's not like we were going to trade for a #1 WR.

Yep. For everyone saying how badly we need a vet WR with speed in our room, I guess they got it. But, to me, it illustrates what the Ravens have been saying all offseason - "We like the guys we have on our roster and think they are going to perform well." If the staff thought our guys were terrible, this surely would not have been the guy they'd have waited to sign...

WR concerns don’t worry me as much as the Oline concerns. Stanley is the lynchpin for a successful season. Fans are trying to talk themselves into thinking we have good depth on the line. If Stanley can’t start week one, we’re one injury away from last year

we are definitely better off this year than last year. AV is no longer on the team.
Faalele maybe our saving grace. Seems he is less of a project than some thought. Lots of positives coming from training camp about him. Still i hope he isn’t forced into action to soon
