Ray's was a tricep tear AND people forget that he missed the last 10 games of the regular season that year with said injury. He effectively did the rest/rehab program for three months before the playoff run. He didn't really "play through the injury".

That being said, he also re-tore it the night before the SB, so he did play that game with a tore tricep, and I seriously doubt he was fully healthy for the playoff run.

I can't really compare the injuries in terms of muscle usage for NFL players (or by position), but I honestly can't really see an NFL player being effective with a bicep tear.

correct and I know he was older, but when he came back, he definitely wasn't the Ray that everyone knew.

Really sad clip here. Fitzmagic really loves Tua. Hope this is not a Shazier like injury, but they're saying there's definitely neurological damage based on his fingers reaction to the trauma.

Anyone think we're relying on rookies more heavily this year than most years prior?

Hamilton has been a day 1 50% snaps guy
Linderbaum has been day 1 full time starter
Ojabo is desperately needed
Jones is about to be the full time NT
Stout is the punter
Faalele may be the starting LT this weekend
Likely has a role in the offense
JAD and Pepe have roles on defense
Kolar has been hurt
Badie is on the PS.
