Bateman isn't going to move the needle in terms of betting lines. QBs move point spreads. Barely anybody else does.
Just frustrated with how the Ravens FO handled this off-season. They got rid of Hollywood and drafted no WR. I get it they wanted to see what the young guys can do but now our # 1 wr is out and we have Duvernay as our #1. Yeah he's been a surprise but that was bad planning from the FO.
I guess we can use the 50 TEs we have. ....

Honestly we really don't know if it's bad planning until we see what happens Sunday. Not having Bateman in this games sucks but that doesn't mean a receiver won't step up in his absence. Honestly even if The Ravens did draft a receiver in this year draft that receiver would be a rookie and it's no guarantee that receivers would be ready to start or contribute.
Lol so if they bomb Sunday then it was bad planning? Sorry but relying on Duvernay to be our # 1 now with Batemans injury is definitely bad planning. I hope they step up but we should of not been in this position. They should have picked up a proven WR and no not the likes of Robinson or Isabella.
I can't stand diva wrs but they should call Odell. Yes, he is probably not much improvement of what we have now but being a recognized name he can take attention away from Bateman and free him up. Idk..... again I totally blame the For this mess. And don't get me started with the LBs. JPP comes off the street and plays 80% snaps or something like that in his first game.... C'mon man!

Everybody talks about poor planning, but none of them ever have a plan for what they would have done differently.

Really? I literally wrote they should of picked up a proven WR... lol they are the one's getting paid for that so.. don't act like they didn't drop the ball at WR.
and we also know that the FO was looking at taking a WR in R1 but the board got cleaned out and other rounds too
just didnt happen
people can criticise the potentially poor outcome, but it's exceptionally clear there was a plan (just not much of a backup plan)
and no one has had any issues really with the WRs or their usage through 4 weeks... but now it's negligence because Bateman gets injured?
I'm exceptionally worried about what this WR corps looks like without Rashod but it is what it is
I know some of you guys think everything this FO does it great and they make no mistakes. Hollywood was our #1 , Bateman our #2, Watkins arguably #3. Duvernay and Proche were what #4 and 5???
Now we are depending on the # 4 wr to be our #1 this game let's admit that's pretty bad. Look I hope they step up and ball out but if they fail to do so then blame needs to go where it belongs.

For me RB has been the main problem and with Dobbins returning, and hopefully soon Gus, we should be in good shape. It sucks Hill is out as he had finally shown some rogress.
Not having Bateman available isn’t good, but not paralyzing. Robinson could prove to be better than you think, obviously Duv has improved greatly. Injuries always suck, but I just don’t see WR as a huge issue right now.

We're basically up against the cap and have resructured everyone that matters, so something else would have had to go to get a provenWR. Would you have skipped Campbell or M.Williams? I would not
I mean injuries happen so it is not really a concern and having a great C for 5 years is a lot more important than having a good WR for 1 year.
Which is weird because I can tell you 100% that whether or not the Cardinals have Hopkins is more important to their success than any other player. The moment he went out with injury they went from looking like a Super Bowl contender to looking like a borderline playoff team.

Bateman has true #1 receiver ability and Hollywood was a #2. That trade brought us a very good to all pro level ability Center in Linderbaum. I'd go Linderbaum alll day every day in that exchange. Andrews is our #1 and Bateman is our #2. As our #3 Duvernay is doing very well.
