I don't mind Cincy either, compared to the alternatives of course. Generally feels like regardless of skill level of the respective teams, you always have a shot against a division opponent. Feel like they're the 2nd/3rd best option should we not luck into the Jags/Titans option.
Given how the last months have played out, I'm basically trying to play the teams with the weaker defenses and, particularly, run defenses. While its unlikely we play them, I'd almost rather play KC than play Cincy or Buffalo right now. I just think we're going to heavily struggle to score points against either of those teams.
Buffalo may have to relocate again this week if it's a home game. They are in the midst of an ice catastrophe. To your point, tho, I'd hate to get Cincy or Buffalo in the first round especially. And assuming come Playoff time Buffalo is able to have home games, that's gonna be brutal weather-wise. It really doesn't matter tho. I don't think we make it beyond a win, even if we get that... which I wouldn't bet on.
You can still get all of the local channels through streaming. I have YoutubeTV and there's not a channel on cable that I watched that I'm now missing. Now obviously that's specific to me, but I'd look into it at least. Cable prices are outrageous.
I used to love Dish, but they get into too many disputes with media providers, even local now. It's been about 7 years since I've had it, but they are ahead of the curve on tech like wireless boxes, dvr, and such, but the fact that they will allow channels to be shut off for months while they try to strong-arm providers into cheaper agreements - while admirable to an extent, I don't want to deal with it.
I have DirecTv and Fios internet. I'll be canceling Directv on January 9th (day after regular season ends). Already have a reminder on my phone to do it.
I have Dish and like it. I used to have Directv (for Sunday Ticket) and never liked it. But as WKRP's DJ said, they do get in periodic contract disputes. Out of nowhere one Sunday, ESPN disappeared. I was furious, as it was the day of the Singapore Grand Prix. (We have fond memories of Singapore - not something we were pleased about missing.) I'm sure Dish got inundated with complaints, as it was back the next day.
Hulu Live and YoutubeTV are both live subscription services, so you're getting everything real time. Can't speak for Hulu, but YTV has unlimited DVR space.

We had Hulu - briefly. I have nothing good to say about that. We paid extra for no commercials With many of the shows we had on their DVR, we couldn't fast forward thru commercials we paid to not have to begin with. Or, in some cases, the commercials would not be there but we could not fast forward thru the screen space holder they had during the commercial breaks. It's an excellent service to have if your doctor tells you that your blood pressure is too low and you need to raise it.
