Side note: let players rock Oakley visors in game. Unfair that Lamar’s one sponsorship, makes nfl caliber equipment, but they can’t wear them in game.

Looking at the schedule for how it could affect us:
No chance weeks 13 (bye), 16 (MNF) or 17 (having just played Monday).
Week 14 (hosting Rams) would be great, since we're coming off a bye.
Week 15 (at Jags) would be dreadful.

So, we'll be playing Thursday in week 15.

Lost in the flowers and Beckham hype, is Bateman and likely. We all know about Bateman and know that he just needs to be healthy, his lack of hype is more of a media thing, but we on PF are sleeping on Likely. If we are gonna be both running and passing out of 2 TE sets then I’m looking for Likely to take a big step forward, he can separate and he can make very difficult catches but what gets forgotten is his YAC ability, that’s what could separate him from the typical TE2, he’s not just gonna make possession style catches like nick boyle did, he can catch the ball and make big plays with his feet, he’s got a dirty ass knack for planting as he’s making the catch and changing direction once he secures the ball, leaving dbs much faster than him grasping at air as he runs away.

TLDR; I’m expecting Isaiah Likely to be a massive difference maker this season, he may not have the volume, but he will make the plays.

Even if we didnt draft a wr, i wouldve been fine with that because of likely. I think our wr room got a nice foundation for the next few yrs in andrews, likely and flowers.. idk if we keep bateman when that time comes or if even would be wroth keeping.

Lamar Jackson AND Mark Andrews really fucking covered how awful Roman was a coordinator. Andrews' ability to simply make plays in terms of tough catches and finding a way to find the open space coupled to Lamar's ability to extend plays and his arm talent covered up the fact that there was never a real play being called

Said this in another thread. We are deep and I'm hoping what we heard about Monken is true because this team should have crazy personnel variety.

Likely was a beast last preseason. Unfortunately, it didn't translate consistently during the season, but when it did, we saw the potential. With the addition of Zay and OBJ, we'll see how many targets he get.

If all 3 of our top WRs are healthy, along with Andrews…. I don’t see a lot of targets for him.
