Next Up: vs. Dolphins

"tik toker bf"

Like she has a tiktok boyfriend in addition to you? If so, my brother in Christ.....................
I fucked up my typing of that. Berrios is dating some famous Tik toker chick named Alix earle. She’s a blonde girl with a big rack.

I’m sane don’t worry

I'm actually more worried about Miami's defense than Tua & Hill. They simply haven't gone off against a good defense all year. Didn't score in 1st half v.s. KC didn't score in 2nd half vs Buffalo, bogged down v.s. Raiders, underwhelmed v.s Philly and last week they got 20+ on dallas by kicking 50+ yd FG's all day. Sure they did damage against the Jets, but only because NY's offense hung them out to dry. Nothing in that track record tells me a brutally banged up Dolphin's offense is gonna light it up at M&T.

The defense OTOH, matches up well against us, interior pressure, multiple cover cb's and speed edge rushers are all things that will bother us. I think we have enough matchup to win over the middle and Lamar is playing out of his mind, but I do think they will be a major PITA.
Great analysis. I didn't know the Fins O struggled so much against good defenses.

I did know that they are underwhelming on the road. And Harbs teams generally do well in December.

I'm actually feeling mildly confident about this game. The Jags have been the most challenging FL team for Baltimore and they handled them well.
I just wish the weather was going to be colder.

Edit: Actually one thing gives me a bad feeling, and thats honoring Ray Rice.

still feels weird to "honour" someone for that
Well they aren't honoring him for an alcohol fueled rage. Right? The point is that most recognize the mistake, but have moved on from it since he's done what he can to make amends. In other words he's not a life long dirt bag that should be castigated for eternity.

Recognizing his accomplishments as a football player I'm sure will help him to continue to rebuild his self esteem. Seems like a great thing for the team to do IMO.

I wanna perform a very quick demographic experiment…

Everyone here who applauds the organization for this ray rice honor, please speak and tell me if you are or aren’t a Baltimore local

Everyone here who questions “why would you honor ray rice?” Please speak and tell me if you are or aren’t a Baltimore local

Not a local. (Not sure why that matters. Even if he's done visible work in the community, we all know that bad people can wear a good face 95% of the time, so it doesn't prove much.)

I'm torn about the Ravens honoring Rice. It seems like he has done good work on himself to turn himself around.

On the other hand, I'm not convinced that people can change their essential nature, and someone who can do what he did is probably a bit of a dick at their core. Not just the punch but callously dragging her behind him showed an abnormal lack of empathy. People can, however change their behaviour, and if Rice has behaved well, despite his inner dickishness, that's admirable, I suppose.

Having him back seems very much like a Harbaugh religious move but it's a bit surprising that the organisation has allowed him to do it because the optics are going to be "The Ravens support domestic violence" and Harbaugh will have to answer questions supporting someone who could well let him down again in the future.

If it was my team, I wouldn't allow it.

You’re going too deep, in my personal experience, being a Baltimore local, it seems that folks from Baltimore don’t give a shit about what he did and still hates goodell for targeting our former star player, while ravens fans outside of Baltimore condemn ray rices actions entirely.

And I shit you not, there are A LOT of people in Baltimore that think Ray did nothing wrong and he had a right to do what he did, equal right equal lefts kind of thing, and they would get passionate, even hateful about it. It was a very sus attitude from a shocking amount of people I know.

lol you and I know Baltimore isn’t filled with the cream of crop with it comes to class. So it doesn’t shock me to hear some people think he did nothing wrong. But my sister and I actually went to the stadium and exchanged our Rice jerseys when the Ravens covered it for free. Swapped it out for agent 89

Not a local. Think he was done somewhat wrong by the league/org. No problem with what the team is doing and they are still married.

Fans don't want to play this hollier than thou game.

And let me state this. I personally wouldn't hit a woman. But as Bill Burr said "no reason to" is wild to me. There are plenty of situations they put themselves in where it's deserved.

Who the fuck are we to judge if the woman he hit never left him and married him after that one drunken night?

Ray is working with the Ravens for a while now, I applaud the organisation for continuing to help him put some normal back in his life.

Not a local and not American.

A local.

Pretty clear he made a big mistake.
Pretty clear he was able to sort things with his wife most importantly.

The league and the team took action in his discipline and the way they act because of it.

Rice has since done many things, slowly, over a decade to repair his image and legitimately help others in this community.

It's only just know he's getting this honor. Feels well deserved at this point. I don't want to be remembered for my single biggest mistake, nor do I want to be remembered for my single greatest triumph, but ultimately for who I was in entirety. I think most people probably feel that way.

Bro I didn’t even know you were a local lmao
Not anymore, born and raised there until 14 when my parents moved to Annapolis. Then all over the place post college when I joined the Marines
