YupIf only Jimmy didn't get hurt, I would be enjoying this win so much more. Sigh...
Let's be honest, this was a statement victory and a huge game from the whole team.
Next week will be extremely difficult but if the offense shows this wasn't a fluke and the defense figures out how to stay dominant without Jimmy we're going to win a lot of games
Has anyone mentioned how well Joe played yet?
Doubt it.Has anyone mentioned how well Joe played yet?
I really, really hope it's the start of something good.I felt like he was ready to break out last week, but the offense just sucked it up. Today in the 2nd quarter, the offense finally let Joe take over and there you go
What's sad is as well as he was playing he could have put up some gaudy numbers if it weren't for all the dropped passes and some miscues early in the third quarter.
Obviously the question becomes what about next week? Is this an anomaly or the turning of a corner?
I'm feeling like it's the latter
Good
1)Joe had his head in the game...the entire game...why is this a rarity? He was generally accurate, threw with confidence and made good decisions
Well, I have to give this link to you, too:Doubt it.

What about all the dork-o haters ?
Yeah, I am sure of that.Sometimes you expect too much.
And thanks for the compliment.
Agreed, a real statement game is a win vs Pittsburgh next week.I don't see this as a "statement" victory at all per se. A great win-absolutely! So, let's rejoice over it and enjoy it of course. But a "statement" win to me is this; after winning 3 games in a row....and.....IF the Ravens can roll into Heinz Field next week and the offense can play like it did today and even better (along with the defense and special teams) and get their 4th "W" in a row there in Pittsburgh against the Steelers in order to maintain their position in the Wild Card spot?
NOW THAT'S A STATEMENT GAME!
Here's to the Ravens making a statement!
The video under that one will make you feel better.
