Any Wrestling Fans in the House?

I can't believe how poorly they've handled Shinsuke Nakamura in his time on the main roster. What's worse is, the damage might be irreparable unless they do an extensive rehab job on him by showcasing him in some longer, methodical matches on PPV. I didn't think Nakamura vs Ziggler could've...

Volume WR, Who is it Gonna Be?

Which means they don't feel he's done enough to prove he's learned his lesson. I agree with the league here.

What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?

My beef with TWD is that the writing is lazy. There's filler disguised as exposition, meant solely to kill time until the next episode. So many forgettable, useless moments and conversations that the writers call "world-building" -- it's not. It's garbage tripe that completely betrays how good...

What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?

End of Watch is such a heavy movie. Took a turn I didn't expect at all, and then once the movie grabs you by the throat, it never really lets go. Great, visceral filmmaking. The final act just stays with you for a bit after it's over.

From my understanding, I think they yanked Corbin from the match so as to save the eventual showdown between Corbin and Strowman. The most physicality those two have seen against one another was Corbin eliminating Braun, and that's probably a moment they'll reference later when they inevitably feud.

How Did You Become a Baltimore Ravens Fan?

Before I ever became a Ravens fan, I was a Ray Lewis fan from the first time I'd seen him on TV in the early-2000s. However, I didn't become a fan of team until maybe 2004, with Week 2 vs. the Steelers as the first full Ravens game I sat down and watched. This was the game where Big Ben came in...

Any Wrestling Fans in the House?

Corbin really did a lot to win me over, as I absolutely hated his NXT run. As long as they don't overexpose him and continue to hide his weaknesses, he'll be built as well as Braun Strowman has. Speaking of Strowman, that's another character I never expected to develop into must-see TV. Since...

    Obligatory Joe Flacco Thread

To be fair, and this is true of every team, the QB always takes all the blame and gets all the credit. Doesn't matter whether that's actually the case -- everyone always looks at the QB first because he's the de facto leader and the face of the franchise, playing the most important position on...

    AFC North

Cleveland will have flashes of brilliance but will still be Cleveland at the end of the day. The Bengals will do alright, as long as Dalton doesn't turn the ball over as much. Fuck Pittsburgh, no matter what.

    Fire Dean Pees Thread

I was watching that Christmas Day game at my in-laws, and you have to keep in mind, it was a mixture of Ravens, Cowboys, Colts, Eagles, and Bengals fans (my wife started rooting for Cincy because of Ocho Cinco) -- and we all wanted the Steelers to lose so badly, so we were all silent at the end...

    Fire Dean Pees Thread

In fairness to the offense, there have been several moments over the past couple of seasons where the offense has erased a deficit in the second half, only for the defense to choke. And vice versa, of course -- but the most glaring instance of the D's failings was the Steelers game this past...

Any Wrestling Fans in the House?

Mark my words: Drew McIntyre will be NXT Champion, Jinder Mahal will be WWE Champion, and Heath Slater will be Intercontinental Champion, all at the same time. I can see Slater beating Miz for the title after Ambrose drops the belt. Jinder will surprise everyone and be booked to beat Orton, and...

    Fire Dean Pees Thread

I think the saving grace of the defense is the talent of the players and the skill of the positional coaches. Pees doesn't know how to call plays when the offense has given the D any sort of cushion, and that goes with Harbaugh's mantra that the team needs to learn how to finish games. Too...

Shit, he could be even better than Hassan in everyone's wildest dreams. Jinder is a good worker. Hassan was mediocre. I'm genuinely excited to see what they do with Jinder next.

To Owens' credit, he doesn't try to be the cool heel; he's just so good, that people will cheer him even if he literally spat in their faces and slashed their tires. Owens is good at getting heat when it matters (see: The Festival of Friendship), but he can never avoid getting that entrance pop.

What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?

My wife and I watch nothing but HGTV lately, so we've become that boring married couple that everyone dreads becoming. So, lots of shitty shows that we enjoy like Fixer Upper, Flip or Flop (fuck the new Las Vegas season), and Property Brothers. We know they're super staged, but we still enjoy...

I think the defense will do well under Dean Pees this season, and I think he'll still get fired anyway.

Any Wrestling Fans in the House?

Jinder deserves a run with the title right now. At worst, if it doesn't work out, they can always take the belt off him. At best, they get a new main event level or upper-mid heel. He's vastly improved from his last run, and I love that he's got his own stable with the Bollywood Boys.
