Lamar's not practicing today - reports are he's ill (interestingly he had to go to hospital last year before the bengals game too)

yanda was ill yesterday but is back practicing today - probably not coincidence that their lockers are next to each other

Having their lockers together was a stroke of genius. Think its really helped Lamar.

DRE KIRKPATRICKDB, CINCINNATI BENGALS

Bengals CB Dre Kirkpatrick (knee) won't suit up Sunday against the Ravens.
Kirkpatrick's continued absence is good news for the entire Ravens' passing game. Lamar Jackson has fed Marquise Brown (43 targets) and Mark Andrews (42) way more than the likes of Nick Boyle (19), Willie Snead (18) and Hayden Hurst (17) in six games with the Ravens' first-round rookie, who is the only fantasy-viable WR in this offense. Hollywood caught 3-of-4 targets for 48 scoreless yards against the Patriots, but looked plenty healthy while showing off his truly elite burners. Only the Raiders (43 completions allowed of at least 20 yards), Cardinals (39), Lions (38) and Giants (38) have allowed more big plays through the air than the Bengals (36)

A.J. GREENWR, CINCINNATI BENGALS

A.J. Green (ankle) has been ruled out for the Bengals' Week 10 matchup against the Ravens.
Alex Erickson will continue to replace Green in 3-WR sets along with Auden Tate and Tyler Boyd. The entire Bengals Offense carries a low ceiling and floor after benching Andy Dalton in favor of fourth-round rookie Ryan Finley. The former NC State QB improved in each of his three seasons as a starter, although Finley (6.3% deep-ball rate) joined an underwhelming group of QBs featuring Mike Glennon (6.6%), Ryan Griffin (6.5%) and Nathan Peterman (6%) as the only signal callers to throw the ball more than 20-plus yards downfield on fewer than seven percent of their passes during the preseason (PFF). Only the Dolphins (16.8 points) are implied to score fewer points than the Bengals (17.8) this week.

lol

CBS Sports’ John Breech: “The other problem for the Bengals in this game is that they give up 177.6 yards per game on the ground, which ranks dead last in the NFL. The Ravens might not even have to throw a pass to win this game. Basically, if this is a trap game, it's the equivalent of using a mouse trap to catch a large bear, and the Bengals are not the large bear in this analogy.”

IMO this is a game where Lamar should not run a single designed run himself, especially between the tackles. Let Ingram and Gus pound the shit out of them and give himself a rest. If we get a decent lead give bob some snaps. We have Texans coming into town next week and no need to take unnecessary chances.

Having said that Cincy will probably light us up early. Lol

play the normal game - when lamar starts second guessing himself and starts hesitating that's when he's gonna get lit up by someone

Absolutely play the “normal game” early. All I’m saying is that if we open up a big lead early why take unnecessary risks. If they can’t stop Ingram and Gus there’s no need for Lamar to run.
