i genuinely think i enjoy it more than the super bowl lol
this is probably the first year too where i feel like ill actually know most of the day 3 picks

it's just a shame ill have to be at work saturday for day 3 lol (but because of the time difference should be able to catch most of it)
 
I always take off the Friday of draft weekend lol. Doing it again this year even though it won't feel like much of a day off considering I've been working from home for a month...

see ive got the opposite problem - this year i literally cant take time off work during the draft - dont have a choice lol - just lucky that my day off is on friday that week

Schefter later tweeted that most teams don't think it will hurt his draft stock because under the new CBA, this would not count as a strike against him.

Yes. Its pretty messed up. I make sure to find out the Friday night of the draft as soon s possible so I don't take any gigs.

its more the fact that if they are inclined to believe him then his actual playing weight/testing weight is less than the 238lbs he weighed in at...

yeah - it'll be like 1am or 2am when the first picks happen (based off previous years - im assuming the timings will be similar this year for the broadcast etc.) but that's no different to a primetime game - but that's why its great i have friday off work

2nd and 3rd round is easier because it starts an hour earlier

and day 3 always catches me by surprise because it happens while there's still daylight in the UK lol

I'm cringing now every time I hear anyone being associated with Ruiz.

I've been thinking more about it and he's my guy. I don't put in a fraction of the research you guys do, but I've read enough and seen enough that I'm seriously enamored with him.

We talk about wanting to get Lamar more weapons. Well, our #1 weapon is our run game. With our style of play, what better than to pair Lamar with a rock solid C now and into the future? That's a weapon too. Even with Yanda, it was failure on the interior of the O line that cost us dearly in that playoff loss.

If you want to be consistently going for it on 4th and 2 in the middle of the field, you need someone pushing people off the ball.
 
Alright someone make a trade, we have one week left until the Draft and it's so boring without any news to talk about. Hey Chargers, Panthers, any team with a QB need make a trade with the Lions already.

I don't think we will see anything until draft day, but I definitely see someone jumping to 3rd. Kinda makes sense, for example if LAC plans to jump to 3rd, they wouldn't do it now because obviously they want a QB, they lose all their leverage and then MIA could call up WSH and get to 2nd, then LAC gave up assets for nothing

My wife is a nurse in a covid ward, so I have to take the day off. Problem is she'll probably want a lift which will spoil my day drinking plans
 
Been playing around on Thedraftnetwork. If the board falls the way the first 4 rounds of this mock did, The Ravens will be just fine. Although this is kind of a dream scenario
