Robert Kraft facing up to one year in jail with a court date set for April 24th.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been officially charged with first-degree solicitation of a prostitute.
ESPN is reporting that Kraft would be facing up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted. Authorities in Jupiter, Florida set April 24th as his scheduled court date, but his lawyer can appear for him. On top of any potential legal ramifications, Kraft could be facing disciplinary actions from the Commissioner. Kraft has "categorically denied" the charge.

I heard rumors that there is supposedly a surveillance tape. I am not sure if somehow the police got a camera inside that massage parlor or the owners had one in there. Either way, that is some pretty embarrassing stuff.

A year in jail is not so bad but how is he going to cover $1,000 fine?

Dolphins Tanking?

ROBERT QUINNDL, MIAMI DOLPHINS

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports the Dolphins "assuredly will" release DE Robert Quinn.
Jackson believes Miami will also "likely" do the same with fellow DE Andre Branch. Releasing Quinn, who was acquired from the Rams this time last year, will save the Dolphins over $12.9 million against the cap, while Branch's release would free up another $7 million. The moves make sense financially but would leave Miami with precious little depth off the edge. Cameron Wake could also be shipped out as a veteran on a surefire tanking club. Quinn, 29 in May, had 6.5 sacks as a 16-game starter last season.

Kevin Colbert on Antonio Brown:

- Reiterates Steelers ‘are willing to take a look’ at trading him
- Open to bringing AB back if they can’t find trade value
- Calls locker room ‘very functional’
- Three-team interest ‘has grown’ to more
- Hasn’t eliminated AFC North or ‘anybody’

If the Browns or Bengals gave them like three first round picks, sure they'll trade him to an AFC North team. But I'd say anything short of that and it's not happening. They'd demand nothing less than a king's ransom.

Lots of Free agency news in regards to players who could be available at the start of the new league year.

- Chiefs are looking to trade Justin Houston but is $21.1M Cap Hit will make it rough. Chiefs may end up releasing him in order to keep Dee Ford.

- The Eagles are open to trading WR Nelson Agholor. They are letting their Super Bowl Hero Nick Foles go freely on his way as they will not tag him and he will become a free agent.

- The Bears are shopping RB Jordan Howard

- The Vikings are shopping CB Trae Waynes.

The Minnesota Vikings have picked up Mike Zimmer's 2020 Option in order to prevent 2019 from being a lame duck year, etc.

still not easy but only 15.5m of that cap hit is base salary - which is what the team receiving him in a trade would have to pay

What kind of deal do you think he would get on open market? Gotta imagine its less than that or at least you could better structure it.

More details and analysis on witten:

Rapsheet: The Cowboys are giving their new/old TE Jason Witten roughly $5M to come out of retirement for the 2019 season, source said. Witten had considered it for some time, now makes the dramatic return.

Gregg Rosenthaal's response: This move sounded like a win-win-win (for viewers too) until seeing this contract. Who they bidding against?
