I’m 30 and been watching the ravens since Kyle boller days, I saw heap play and I don’t think he had a fraction of the skill and mental acuity that andrews has, and he’s also not nearly the athlete or competitor he is.

Heap did have incredible hands, toughness at the catch point, and highpoint ability, I’d argue andrews has all the same, though heap is clearly the bigger bull between the two, I think andrews is just superior in every other way.
Same.. i actually remember the ravens winning that first SB and that next yr, the trash ass bucs won and people were going crazy.:. It was the first time college kids werent scared to walk through our apartments lol

I think Ravens are more lucky to have us as fans lol
Just wait for the sad day when we are noncompetitive for a stretch. We had 3 straight years of .500 or less and our stadium couldn’t fill seats.

I’m a Baltimore native, I’m pretty sure the majority of our fanbase is no more loyal than any other, we haven’t been tested, and I also know from listening to 105.7 callers that our local fanbase isn’t rational at all.

A quarter of our fans would jump ship if Lamar was traded, a quarter of them would stop watching if we fell into a few years of disarray.

That said, I’d be shocked if any stadium had a better gameday experience, the bank has an incredible atmosphere, before during and after games, and a lot of that is due to the fans, they do it big.

Man for some reason, being under the freeways and in that old partially abandoned industrial area where most of the tailgate parking is, it’s just got a certain charm to it, and the ravens have an incredible team of people putting together gameday for the fans because half of downtown Baltimore is dedicated to hosting these games and there is just so much purple shit from horseshoe casino to Pratt street, and the super fans out there that make tailgating a lifestyle, they make it a great event too, every time I’ve went for pregame I get offered so much from these people, from food to beers to cornhole games. I fucking miss it lol.

Me and my wife had a $600 stubhub coupon from a canceled game that we were gonna see in Pitt, we were gonna use it on the home game this year, but we decided to take the cash refund instead, feelsbadman.

Great memories from long ago partying on the lots on West Hamburg Street. Some serious tailgating over there.

Spot on. I wore the royal blue number 82 back in the mid 60s when I was young and now I wear the purple numbers 5 and number 86.
