Lol he wasn’t a great architect of teams but he knew how to use his toys if the FO put them in place. Rick Smith was always the problem in Houston.
 
This is fitting for this weekend. Went to Subway for dinner, as I was leaving the song being played was "Two Tickets to Paradise" lol.

While true, we may be the only organization with two Kickers in the HOF, Stover & Tucker at some point down the line. I only see the ageless Adam Vinateri, Stover and Tucker getting in for the modern day players.
 
I'd like everyone to play a little game. Name 1 guy on offense and defense who is going to shine this preseason and one guy on offense and defense who is going to disappoint.

Disappoint Chris Moore, I think there's a chance Jaleel makes a bigger impact than Moore this year on offense

These guys are built for preseason

Disappoint: Jaylon Ferguson, Ben Powers

I don’t think these guys will disappoint long term but I think real NFL game speed will be a shock to both of these players in the preseason. Joint practices will help but you can’t simulate live bullets
 
I think that what the pundits keep overlooking when they talk about the Ravens run heavy offense is the importance of time of possession. During the second have of the season, I saw how much fresher our defense looked when we didn't have all those three and outs with our struggling passing offense with Flacco. I can't understand how so many can't understand how important this was for us. Our defense was not winded at the end of our games and still ready to get after it and our opponents defenses looked gassed for so much time on the field. Screw them, they will find out the hard way this season...book it! Go Ravens!!!!
