and it's so true. The best part about Witten going back to the Cowboys is that we won't be forced to listen to Witten on MNF anymore. Hopefully he doesn't get another shot.

in a roundabout way i think this is jerrah doing him a favour - he's bringing him into the fold and then maybe the plan is they use this year basically as a build towards him moving onto the coaching staff a bit like they did with jason garrett
they've given him a reasonable excuse to change career path and allowing him to save face and not be fired by MNF
that's one way to think about it. Will be interesting to see how this plays out in the end.
