Yo so do we really have 10 picks in first 4 rounds or are we not sure yet?
9 of our 10 picks are in the 1st four rounds, but this includes the comp picks for Culley, Judon and Ngakoue. Culley's 3rd round comp is guaranteed, but Judon and Ngakoue's 4th round picks are not, however they are likely. It's possible Judon gets upgraded to a 3rd due to snap count and possible AP bid, but I'm not counting on it.

we’ve definitely got 7 and we’re waiting to find out about 2 comp picks for judon and Ngakoue which are definitely going to be at least 4th rounders

so we’re basically guaranteed 9 - we don’t have 10 in the first 4 - we’ve got 10 total and 9 in the first 4

And yet it didn't matter who we had starting...at this point let's just draft a QB and save the $$$. Let Lamar go win elsewhere.

show me a college qb who’s better than Lamar and I’ll think about it

but you gotta find me that guy first before I even think about letting Lamar go (so find one quick coz Lamar’s gonna get paid very soon)

Paying Lamar is the only path right now. Unless we want to start over and hope we get lucky again. They key going forward will be successful drafting for depth and complimentary pieces. DeCosta has been great so far. Just gotta hope he doesn’t drop the ball. I don’t seen any way you can survive 40 + Million a year to one player and a bad draft class. That seems like 8-8 purgatory.

that’s why EDC has been stacking picks - more chances at finding more players and more cheap depth

expect us to keep stacking picks as much as possible moving forwards (not that we didn’t before) but don’t expect many trade ups (certainly not big ones) in the near future

I wouldn't be surprised if he trades one of our 2022 picks for a better 2023 pick.

It’s the Ravens way. I also wouldn’t expect many , if any, big free agent signings. Just depth. I’m excited we’re paying our guys for once. Time will tell if it works out

he's been so far really good at getting deals done early
and he's been really good at identifying lower priced mid-level guys who have value to us and locking them in longer term - pat ricard, tyus bowser, pat mekari, nick boyle, chuck clark

keep doing that and we shall succeed, even with EDC having a 45m contract
