Where you not following the team in 08? Jimmy was a solid safety and punt returner. Would have been back but followed Rex to New York in 09

Honestly I don’t think I could have been more apathetic watching a football game…neither team winning was a solid outcome

Yeah he really was a savior after Landry went down. Tough, hard nosed player, fit our team perfectly.

I didn’t care who won, dislike both equally.

nah - i wasnt even watching the NFL in 2008 - the international series at wembley only started in 07 and i didnt really pick up the sport properly until 2010 when watching playoff highlights (because there werent full games to watch at that point that i could access) and seeing the ravens dominate the chiefs and some clips of ray lewis going insane and i remember a highlight of the defence literally moving around pre-snap like birds and i decided id follow them and see how i felt about it

08 was a fucking fun season. Flaccos rookie year and seeing him go to the afc ship, crazy defense, beat the 1 seed, man it was epic.

I was a ravens fan from day one, I got INTO football in 05 when I finally began to understand it, but 08 was when I became an absolute fucking lunatic for this team.

i ended up sticking with the ravens during those early days partly because the only other guy in my class who cared about the NFL was also a ravens fan
