Adeboyjo is also gone, kinda saw that one coming.
Wouldn't that be canady going to i/r-dtrBut he could easily be the guy who gets released tomorrow.
Skura is gone
Mizell is gone, Ortiz is gone, tali gone
Adeboyejo and Mathews gone
Which means that our traded for guys are both making it
Which means that we are only keeping 3 tailbacks and pat Ricard is our official fullback
Which means that we are (as most expected keeping 5 receivers)
Also looks like vince mayle has made the team which is a special teams guy for sure - he may well be on the team because he was last man standing at gunner...
Also sheldon price'a length seems to have won him a depth spot
Wouldn't that be canady going to i/r-dtr
I think mayle is nailed on tbh - he was always out with the first team special teams unit, McClellan went down, and we are short of gunners and cut chris Matthews - I think he's a lock to stayThat'll be a spot too, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is on the fringe.
If teams were waiting to see what we would do, they have to pick up the phone now and make an offer if they are interested in improving their d-line!The Miz the only surprising one here. Keeping all lineman. Think they'll trade any ?
Either am I. Joe was back on the practice field today so hopefully we can get Woodrum on the PS.Disappointed about Mizz. He will get scoop up quickly.
Also disappointed about Woodrum but not surprised.

Unless some trades are in the works, I really don't get 17 front 7 players on the roster compared to only 3 backs (one pretty big injury concern) and 5 wideouts, 2 of which are banged more than they are healthy and one can't keep the ball in his hands. Add to that meh OL with couple of average (?) additions and I can see excuses about the missing running game starting early this season.
It's pretty normal to only keep three backs. That, and Roman will occasionally put a TE at the fullback position as well for certain plays IIRC. So FB will likely be a rotation of Boyle and Ricard. No permanent starter. It's pretty normal to only keep three backs. One of our front seven guys, Ricard, will likely be the fullback.
The five wideouts are harder to fathom. I have a feeling there's another move to make. However, Roman has always preferred 2 TE offenses. Maybe there will be fewer multi-WR sets. I dunno, but I do know the roster isn't set. My only concern is WR depth.
