As fans we are looking to replace Harbaugh and Ozzie. However that, imo, will not happen, unless we lose the locker room and we have too many leaders in the locker room (on defense) for that to happen. We need offensive leaders though and we are severely missing that.
Cant believe ozzie drafted humprhey with all that talent on the board. Still mind blown about that. Didnt like hump in college nor in NFL till he shows me more.
Im not saying that he is a bad cb. I just feel like he dosnt have the tangibles that would make him a great cb. Like he doesnt get his around head, doesnt have good awarness and lacks instincts when the play is not in front of him. ive always said he playe good cvg, but doesnt have those tangibles that will take him to the next level. like collins from ATL. In SB he was playing nice cvg, but was still getting killed because he just didnt have those great instinctsabout whom are you referring - especially given how well humphrey has played so far - like the team has had the lowest yards per play on defence when humphrey's been in the game through 6 weeks - he hasnt allowed a touchdown, he's only been beaten properly three times i can think of this year - twice by martavis bryant and once by crabtree and the crabtree one seemed to come on a blown coverage or something weird like that
I'm not sure I agree that losing the locker room is the only way Harbaugh loses his job. I think if we have a few more losses like the Jacksonville and Bears games , it won't matter. As fans we are looking to replace Harbaugh and Ozzie. i wouldnt be opposed hugely to harbs going if that's the right choice but there's no need to get rid of the front office - i dont know what guys are complaining about mostly - we have 1 position that they are bad at evaluating but other than that we are injury ravaged on offence - it would be incredibly naive to get rid of oz or eric at this point - but i could understand parting way with harbs at the end of the year if the locker room is stale or he doesnt seem to be getting it done anymore
What exactly did he not show?Cant believe ozzie drafted humprhey with all that talent on the board. Still mind blown about that. Didnt like hump in college nor in NFL till he shows me more.
What exactly makes you say things like that? I for one don't even know what Decosta's influence or job throughout the year has been. Do you know things that I don't?I will tell you who I think is overrated and that's Eric Decosta, the supposed Gm in waiting until Ozzie retires.
I don't think he has done a good job in the draft and isn't he in control of that to a large extent?

That's just it Deebo. He's loaded with intangibles that cannot be taught. Humphrey isn't starting because we are bringing him on slowly, but he's going to be an amazing player for us.Im not saying that he is a bad cb. Real question here, how do you know when Eric has been the draft chief?what are you talking about - our drafting is almost exactly the same in terms of consistency that oz had since eric took over - in fact now that he's been doing it a while he seems to be getting the hang of it given how good the last 2 classes look - we've added some young potential cornerstone pieces the last 3-4 years in CJ, marlon humphrey, ronnie stanley, tavon young, (maybe kenneth dixon, maybe maurice canady), matt judon, willie henry, we'll see with bowser, williams and wormley but they have started with promise - im not sure how long eric's been running the draft but he's also been instrumental in drafting some of the ravens best ever players

Oh crap, forgot that part. Still, thanks for the hindsight.lol that was literally the last line of my post - i have no idea - im guessing its only happened since he was officially promoted to assistant gm in 2012 after the draft - so maybe it was off the back of that draft or maybe it started after the superbowl but those would be my best guesses
Safety. That's it. Oh and DL, because.I think Eric's early work(2012-2013) was utterly horrendous but he's slowly improved. Getting CJ Mosley, Stanley, Tavon Young, Judon, etc were huge.
I'm not too upset if he's the GM of the future.
But supposedly Ozzie ran the draft in 2016. Which actually is not a surprise. That draft class has the potential to be absurdly good.
I also have little doubts that Ozzie will address the offense this offseason. I mean, other than ILB #2 what could he possible address on the defense? I mean seriously.
I know it's controversial in a sense but I don't hate the idea of drafting a dlineman every year. I just wish we'd draft both a dlineman and an olineman higher than where we drafted the dlineman every year. Football is won in the trenches and if you're deep in both of the trenches you're going to be a good football team.Safety. That's it. Oh and DL, because.
Yeah I was just being sarcastic. Just doesn't feel like we have a lot of room already so having to spend another pick on DL again makes things really tight. But then again it's not like our front seven is dominating right now.I know it's controversial in a sense but I don't hate the idea of drafting a dlineman every year. That’ll change the more Tim Williams, Bowser, Pierce, and Henry develop. All four look like they’re going to be players in this league.Yeah I was just being sarcastic. I think priority number one is as you said, a better WLB, and I like Peanut but apart from the usual one or two plays a game he doesn't have enough of an impact especially against the run. The upcoming LB class is unreal, best I've ever seen by a mile, we better capitalize on that. I wouldn't mind a pass rusher as well but this is certainly not priority number one to me. Let's give our guys some time and build a real offense meanwhile. That’ll change the more Tim Williams, Bowser, Pierce, and Henry develop. I wouldn’t object to drafting another pass rusher
