Hip-Hip, Rap Thread

Drake is going to have fight Pusha on sight at this point. I seriously don't know how Drake can lyrically respond to this. Like I said in another thread, this isn't Meek Mill. Pusha has BEEN nice for quite some time. Your move, Drake.

listening to ems new album kamikaze, and FINALLY this dude makes an album where he just goes the fuck in. at this point in ems career, hes gonna sell no matter what he does, he doesnt need his obligatory 3 songs ft. skylar grey and another 3 songs with other various pop singers, littering half his album with poppy bullshit. hes gonna sell but hes gonna struggle to get on rap radio stations because hes just never gonna appeal to the new generation of rap fans, and its about fucking time he realizes that hes been in this game for 22 years now and can do literally whatever the fuck he wants, and dropping fire verses is what he wants, not making radio hits 13 years after his prime...

Yeah no more of that hip hop bull shit.

This is the best shit he's dropped since TES IMO. I haven't really enjoyed listening to him since then, but he's going off on this album Slim Shady style.

MGK a real one. Only one to clap back at em, and he shot off one fact after another, pointing out his corniness and his baby boomer-esque anger at young rappers, I’m a stan since before Stan was a term, but MGK fucking bodied Eminem on rap devil. Dude hs been slept on since day 1.

Also, em WILL clap back and kels will end up not being able to hold his own til the end. Em met his best competition with this.

I always liked MGK and I agree that he got the one-up on Rap Devil. It's REFRESHING to see someone get at Marshall Mathers (you can tell Drake didn't want any problems). But I don't know if he will clap back. Canibus (and a rapper named DZK) went at him kinda harder than MGK in a track called Air Strike. I do not believe Em went at him in retaliation. Who's to say that it's a foregone conclusion that he'll get back at MGK?

RIP Mac Miller... one of the rappers who really influenced my younger years of adulthood. Every house party had KIDS or BDE or the high life blasting in their speakers for 2 years straight.

Honestly this is the shittiest rap death I’ve lived to experience, I was 4 when pac died so I don’t recall that.

Pac is still alive we all know it. Listen to kasinova tha don...I swear it’s him

Yeah this one shocked me. IIRC, wasn't he going through some shit when he and Ariana split?

basically she said "I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years...” after his DUI last year

im getting real pissed at people on twitter though for going after her over this:
Ariana Grande is nobody’s nanny, doctor, or therapist. Directly blaming her for Mac Miller’s death is absolutely vile.

Absolutely. Basically she's saying that she did all that she could to help him. Never cared for his music, but it's extremely unfortunate to hear about this.

Yeah it’s not like she abondened him either

On a side note I’m not a fan of his music that much either but go and listen to Godspeed from 2015 - he basically raps about his own overdose 2 years before it happens and I got chills listening
