I would not object to reuniting with Torrey. He was not the issue in Philly and was more or less the fourth option in the passing game behind Jeffery, Agolhor, and Ertz. I think he could still produce while he was here. We could use a deep threat still and he can still take the top off.I'm guessing our WR Options will be......
- Trade for WR
- Reunite with Torrey
- Hope Landry will take Crabs in exchange for less money
- Draft someone in the mid rounds and hope they blossom (Eric has said the strength of this WR class is in the second and third round)
unfortunately landry will cost too much and jax will sign robinson. i do like the idea of adding torrey again because he had a solid rapport with joe and possibly even sanders but we need to hit on a few receivers in the draft and a teI'm guessing our WR Options will be......

If JLC says we are moving on from Woodhead it means we are keeping him. Not sure why he does what he does, because he's almost always wrong.https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...2-teams-have-ahead-in-the-2018-nfl-offseason/
Oh good. La Canfora is at it again. He expects us to move on from Woodhead. Why? He's dirt cheap. Maclin I get and I know we can manipulate all that cap. I do hope he's actually right about Sanders though. I still think that's the move
Absolutely we should be building a very good offense. Torrey at most in my minds should be a fall back option, not our top option. I don't have a problem bringing him in with a favorable contract, but this is if we have exhausted all of our options at wideout. Will somebody please put a quarter in the merry go round. Under no circumstances should Torrey Smith return. A 30 yr old one trick pony that is slowing down. What would be the point in bringing him back?? To keep the offense stuck in low gear. Bring him back with one more cap cut vet and a rookie and the same discussion continues next year and next year!! The goal should be to build the best ravens offense ever since the inaugural year. With all the scoring in modern rules and 1996 remains the most successful offensive year for the ravens. Besides there is not 4 hall of fame caliber players on defense like 2009-2011. So the offense has to be better.

I'd rather extend Wallace with a team favorable contract than bring Torrey back. I doubt we would go Torrey and Wallace.
I could absolutely be ok with this. He'll get reunited with Kyle in San fran though.I’d be happy with Torrey if he comes cheap
I just really want Taylor Gabriel lol (I realise I’m a broken record at this point)

Paul Richardson is a guy I'd be happy with. I like the fact that he's still young and we've done well recently with ex-Seahawks offensive players (i.e. Forsett and Alex Collins). What I do NOT like about him is that he had 6 drops this past season which was tied for 5th most (https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2...playoffs-super-bowl-senior-bowl-jarvis-landry).Don’t want Wallace back. He is 32 and his game WAs predicated by speed. The fear of his deep routes set up his shorter routes cuz his routes were not ever much good. This is probably the year Wallace declines to near useless. There’s options out there. Torrey and Wallace should have no use. Can’t say Torrey or Wallace was the only option cuz there are plenty of young hungry talented receivers hitting the market that are looking for opportunity to be a go to receiver. There is no freakin reason to sign Wallace or Torrey. Unless coaches scouts and management have no skills identifying breakout WRs that actually have nfl tape. And are completely unconfident in their skills to identify a WR that can breakout on our team with joe throwing them the ball. As opppsed to Blake Bortles and Prescott. And yes I think joe can help Paul Richardson reach his potential better than Russel Wilson could. And could help Marqise hit his massive potential better than terrible Blake Bortles

Three teams I believe are our biggest threats to signing either of these guys: the 49ers with their abundance of cap space and promising young QB and the Cowboys and Bears, both of which need WRs almost as bad (worse for the Bears) as we do. We're gonna need all of the recruitment powers we can get because we have the least cap space out of these teams.I wouldn’t question his hands. And when you are catching 20 yard throws as opposed to 5 yard throws like Landry u could drop a couple. But with the hands and concentration he showed u could count on him improving drops with reps. Dude is an absolute stud. If not for injuries he would be there with Beckham. He is everything Perriman was supposed to be. I would compare Paul Richardson to a young Chad Johnson.
He is as fast as Tyreek Hill. He has run computer timed Sub 4.3 b4 and he is a player. He and Marqise Lee outruns angles. Marqise glides and sometimes don’t look like a burner. However observe cornerbacks giving him so much cushion and playing on their heels and coming outa the backpedal so fast. Marqise runs roots really fast!! Problem is Bortles can’t find him when he runs so fast and sudden with natural movements that disguise his intentions. Bortles parties to much and isn’t dedicated enough to find and time an explosive crafty route runner. Russel Wilson to.
Observe Paul Richardson Always gearing down so Wilson can find’em. And although his best weapon is speed and separation. He is really good at contested catches cuz he has to slow down so Wilson can time him. Joe isn’t Brady or Rivers at leading a fast route runner but he is pretty close. He can’t process as fast as the elite QBs. And if he gets that xtra tick in the pocket. He is about as good as anybody at finding and leading a good fast route runner. But have to sign them in free agency!!

Well, in that case, yeah the Bears worry me a lot (damn you Bears). I had to take a look at their WR corps because I couldn't remember a single one and outside of Kendall Wright and Markus Wheaton, I asked myself "Who the hell are these guys?" Their corps is worse than ours! Considering that they're think highly of Mitch, I agree that they would target any WR they possibly can get their hands on.If the 49ers are truly bent on getting Taylor Gabriel, I don't see them making a splash signing like Allen or Landry, and maybe not even Richardson. They still have Garcon assuming he doesn't get cut which I doubt he would be with how much cap they have. They also still have Goodwin who came on at the end of last year along with Trent Taylor so a Taylor Gabriel signing would round out a nice crew given how many other needs they have, especially on defense. The Cowboys have around $19M in cap space if I recall correctly, so a splash signing would be difficult for them and their significant cap casualties would be OL which I doubt they're willing to do given they covet that line for their running attach. I definitely think the Bears make a big push at WR like you said and wouldn't be surprised if Landry is their guy, especially given his availability and lack of injury history. Coming off their Alshon days and how injury riddled they've been, Landry is likely a very enticing option.
Given some of the cap casualties that have been thrown around, I like our potential to get one or two of those high ceiling 2nd tier guys and a cap casualty vet like a Sanders. Richardson and Sanders to me is an absolute grand slam going into next year.
McPhee might be a cut candidate this year. I definitely would not be opposed to bringing him back, I was a huge fan of his.
