Helps us stay put if we feel we have to. Still think DeCosta would like to add a couple more picks but the pressure isn't there to move back now.
I'm assuming at least one of these meetings involved Watson and Culley talking to him trying to convince him to stay, etc. Otherwise, these are a lot of meetings lol. It's funny though, he joined with the Chiefs in 2013 as their WR coach. The next season in 2014, the 2014 Chiefs became the first team with ZERO TOUCHDOWNS from Wide Receivers since 1964. I'll be happy for him to be getting this opportunity but damn like his credentials are.... meh.
I thought this was kind of a dumb rule when they announced it. But now that it benefits us, it's great
I just find it funny how every minority Head Coach that was being propped up by the media: Bieniemy, Caldwell, Frazier, and others yet the one minority Head Coach nobody talked about or thought about is the one with the Head Coaching job.
He's such an interesting case, but more teams went against the offensive grain this season that we've seen in years past. Lots of leadership qualities (Saleh, Staley, Campbell, Culley) than these young offensive play callers. Whether some of those guys will be good or not remains to be seen, but it's definitely different. Teams definitely went outside of the box (with the exception of Saleh).

This was a really good thread. Not sure there’s a team out there that needs more work on culture than the Texans. For that reason, I can see why they went Culley based on the reports on his character. They have much bigger problems than just on field stuff.
the problem is the 2 biggest cancers in the organisation might be the owner and the guy who hired his boss...
it'll be a testament to his prowess if he pulls this off
but i think for the texans sake point 3 in that thread is probably the most important and probably why andy reid and harbs have both been massive advocates for him
Anyone know how much say Culley actually had as our pass game coordinator? If he had a lot of pull, him leaving is a good thing isn’t it? Hopefully we can replace him with a young, innovative mind
yes, 1 in '21 and 1 in '22Hold on... we're getting 2 3rds from this?
