Relatively quiet night for Mr. @JoeyFlex5 . I will not be around tomorrow evening until like 9:30ish so I'm sure I'll miss out on the fun. Either way, Bateman was my only #SIIE target this year so that was fun. Looking forward to see who we get with our Day 3 picks.

We have a decent record developing the position so I will give Ravens benefit of the doubt. We also don't have a guy to track down the Josh Allen and Pat Mahomes of the world which was sorely missed against the Bills.

I am concerned with our current OT situation with Stanley being the only one I am comfortable starting and he is coming off a major injury.

For those quoting 0 sacks, watch the tape and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Tape is much better than the stat book indicates. He’s certainly not perfect and is going to need some work, but there are a ton of flashes as well.

exactly - he's like a bull in a china shop at times - overpowering and disruptive without refinement

dude's just raw - not a red flag at all - and it's not like he didnt produce at all - just had 0 sacks in a shortened season in 2020...

Idk Rossi I'm pretty sure most people equate zero to nothing lol, I'm kidding I get what your getting at

one of the things that made me perk up watching him was when he chased down a WR on an end around from the edge

Also very curious what the plan is there. Seems we have some vet options at least, but kind of concerning that they said all off-season that fixing the OL was the priority and we’ve gotten worse there. Zeitler is a nice pickup but we need to do more.

I hope we lock up Villanueva, going to be tough finding another Orlando in round 3

Here is the thing about people who have terrible numbers. If you are not performing in a lesser league, why? I get that being able perform in a lesser league does not guarantee that you will do well in NFL, but if you are not getting it done in college there had better be a really good reason why. Not being able to perform in college is more of a red flag then performing in college is a green light.

Look beyond the numbers my friend. He was very disruptive last year. 38 tackles and 7 TFLs along with many pressures in 7 games is disruptive.

Yeah we needed to shore up the interior with Zeitler. Not sure if we are suddenly sold on Tyre Phillips but the RT spot last year was a mess and I don't want to see a repeat of that or a nightmare scenario where Stanley falls off or gets injured again. Tough to see a 3rd rounder stepping in from day 1 to fill that void.

One of the best things about the Bateman pick is the versatility added. All 3 of our WRs have that inside/outside ability. We should really be able to mix up looks now.

And if we’re able to lure Justin Houston in the next several days, I can’t think of a more perfect mentor for Oweh.

Technically the line is already better than it was last year with the addition of Zeitler and Stanley returning.

Looks like Eric is happy with the way things have fallen and don't expect a trade up into round two.
