if indeed mosely had a basic ankle sprain ( twisted ankle) then he will play and it's a mere precaution. If not then they are the dumbest coaching staff in america.

TBH if we're up by at least 2 touchdowns by the middle of the 3rd i'd take both jimmy and cj off the field.

I agree 100% - we can bring in Brandon Carr and even give Correa a run out, or hell we can just play the dime for the rest of the game and leave Levine in there

Clowney and Hopkins will play

Will fuller and heath might be out though given they haven’t practiced all week and they limit the depth significantly at dline and wr for them

I gotta believe Mosley isn’t out after what harbs said after the game but the fact he hasn’t practiced worries me - I really hope he’s at the walkthrough (normally today)
 
I've had ankle twists and really if it's what harbaugh says it is then really it shouldn't be an issue after 5 days.

Depends if it’s a twist or an actual sprain - you always worry when someone’s rolled up on like he was that it’s a potential sprain or tear

If it’s a twist then it’s likely not even a pain issue but more of a rest it to make sure thing (which I think is what we all hope - that it’s a vet week off)

If it’s a sprain then all bets are off and we could be asking these same questions in 2 weeks time or longer

I really do like Willie Henry and he's an example of a guy who just get's better with the reps. Sometimes these guys need to see the field. I think he's done exceptionally well as a pass rusher and he's solid in run defense. I think he's going to be a huge player for us down the line. I think Judon played a great game against GB though and I do believe he was our best defender that day. He literally excelled in all three phases and I don't think you can outdo that. He's going to make a name for himself here if he keeps playing like this. It seems like he's beginning to get that consistency down and learning how to use his speed and explosiveness.

While Judon will be a borderline pro bowler. And played a standout game. Henry was the better player that game. Judon went against backup tackles. While Henry played against pro bowlers borderline pro bowlers along the interior. And look at Henry's high reps for a 311 lb player. And his solid spectacular play throughout was an amazing game.

Not that Henry didn’t play well but Judon was rushing against David bakhtiari at times with Suggs lined up over the right tackle so Judon was beating a high level tackle off the edge

And the packers lost at least one of their better guards this (or last) offseason so Henry’s level of competition wasn’t necessarily higher or even the same level

That being said they both had phenomenal games and hopefully they continue vs this suspect and awful Texans oline that the jags racked up 10 sacks against
 
An ankle sprain can take days to months to heal depending on the severity. Years ago I had a grade 3 sprain that took almost 9 months to heal. It would seem from early indications CJ’s sparain is probably a grade 1 and hopefully he will be good to go by Monday.

if its a grade 1 sprain then it's a 2 week deal.

tbh, we should still win. if we don't then we are wasting our time and our draft by winning some and losing some.

i had a grade 1 ankle sprain playing soccer years ago. 2 week deal for me. i'm not the athelete obviously these guys are but i'd imagine 8 days should be enough for CJ.

I believe Suggs and Judon took turns bullying the back up. Truth can probably shed some light on that. Not that he didn't have a great overall game and deserving of that dpow. But Henry was playing 2 pro bowl caliber interior players and a very solid one. And Henry was bound to break out. He was having games where he got lots of pressures without the sacks. He was bound to begin getting home sometime. And I believe Judon sacks came with QB holding the ball a while. Again Truth could shed light on that. I would be happy them 2 every week competing dpow honors

I wouldn’t call Lane Taylor, Corey Linsley and Jahri Evans a formidable group - that’s 2 consistent vets next to a kind of promising young centre

And don’t forget that on henry’s 2nd sack he was a hair ahead of Judon who’d gone all the way around the tackle to get to hundley almost the exact same time

Either way it’s great that, as you say, they are competing with each other
