After watching Wink's presser and his one on one with Garrett, I get the feeling that he will not be much different from Pees in terms of game strategy. Perhaps he's less risk averse but that could be a good or a bad thing depending on how he uses aggression. Well, I am just hoping we are a defense that can stop teams from coming back and winning games. Stats really don't mean squat if every team that you play against can come back in the last minute and move the ball on your defense and score. Just like the Bears, Steelers and Bengals did to us. If Wink can accomplish that and give our D some swagger that we lost in 2012, then I am all for it.
As for James Urban, he seemed like a smart fellow that is a football guy. I didn't know that Marty was his teacher and he basically was called Marty's parrot! That is "EXTREMELY" concerning to me! We don't like the original, so will we like his parrot? lol. In any case, he made a statement that stuck out to me when asked about Joe and the offense. He said as long as everybody puts in the 'time' to build a rapport and timing with the receivers we'll be okay and also hoped that he Joe would be healthy. So, I expect and hope that this time around Joe is fully healthy during OTAs' and TC and actually takes the time to work with his receivers on timing and routes and tendencies. I also hope that he works with Joe on his mechanics and game recognition skills.
