i think it had been so long since last season and the raiders game was so disappointing that i forgot just how incredible lamar is - i briefly lost faith in his ability to show out in these primetime games just because it was KC/Mahomes and because the raiders game was only 6 days ago

and dont forget that at some point we will get Stanley back - no idea how long he's going to be out but he'll be back at some point

we're still running power as a base package and part of why Roman's been so good has been to throw in curveballs where we run back against the grain of the pullers (like on Devonta Freeman's big run today) - but what they've added with the under center stuff and with moving Bozeman to C is the addition of some zone concepts which also suit Mekari at RT (if he has to stay there) and i think cleveland will be suited to some inside zone too

we went to the option later in the game but it's noticeable through 2 weeks that we're not using a ton of designed lamar runs early in games - we're not afraid to go to it if we need it but this offence isnt predicated on lamar actually keeping the ball (just the threat of him keeping the ball)
 
That play where tryann made a play on hollywood in endzone was a bad route concept and i think lamar stared at hollywood a little causing tyrann to make a play. Anyway, we shouldve sent watkins on a different route there
 
Latavius Murray looked miles better this week than last week

Ty'son's still not sure of himself in the hole

still not sure we've got anyone to properly run the veer and be a true threat to get the edge (but it might be enough to just threaten the give so that Lamar can take the keeper up the middle)

and with each week we're gonna get more and more comfortable at the meshpoint
 
Watching Lamar throw into triple coverage to watching Lamar all the way through the game...

From sitting in the upper decks, you could see Ty’Son’s tentativeness so much. He’s a good runner but he needs to hit the hole with confidence when he sees it. He missed a lot of opportunities tonight.

there was 1 where he missed a gaping hole but it didnt cost us because he managed to hit it the next down but that's why he's not gonna be starting much longer
 
Can we just confirm that moving a pure Left Tackle in AV to Right Tackle was a bad idea? The Lions did it with Sewell, he didn't look good either. Then Decker got hurt, Sewell moved back to Left Tackle and had a great game against Nick Bosa. AV had no problems tonight playing in his more natural position on the left. I think he's a good backup, starter when Stanley is hurt but we definitely need a straight up Right Tackle.
