A one-score game that is not in the Ravens favor after their bye week and having nearly 2 weeks to prepare for the Vikings.

Above average protection is almost as large of a luxury in today's NFL as a franchise QB is. Having a good line, receivers, running game, and QB when the QB is making 40+/year is going to be nearly impossible if we still want to field something that resembles a defense.

I am fine with him running, but him trying to get an extra yard or two and tip toeing the side line then taking a hit is starting to get on my nerves and it will take a toll on him. Maybe not this year, maybe not next year, but all these cumulative hits will eventually impact his performance.

btw I know the Chiefs aren't paying Mahomes that much right now but the impending cap hit definitely dictates how they structure their contracts.

that's so dumb - let's not pay our QB because of high cap hits but franchise him instead which creates even higher cap hits - all in aid of... what exactly?

we have a QB who we're watching this season carry a depleted roster - im not sure what questions there are left about him... he's got no running game, no pass protection and no defence - he's got the best receiver group of his career for sure (which is why we're seeing career best passing numbers from him)

literally not sure what else you'd need to see to justify paying him

because if you arent paying lamar then who are you paying?
 
I know it's a forgone conclusion to most people that Marcus Peters is gone, but are we sure about that? I don't think we've had a single pick 6 this year and the lack of a playmaker just hurts this secondary. We benefited off of having QBs holding onto the ball a little bit longer but now QBs are more confident testing this secondary without a guy who can make a play. If we lose Peters then we need a ball hawk on this defense because no one in the secondary even tries to make a play on the ball.
