Next Up: Bye Bye Marty, Pees and Harbaugh?

I think giving Marty a chance with a HEALTHY JOE and some weapons could be huge for Joe I’m excited for next season I think we have a ton of potential to become a powerhouse over the next few years if we build this offense people tend to forget our D is young outside of a few players and we were missing people like Albert Mcclellon who could’ve been huge at peanuts position and jimmy went down along with urban we have all the pieces and the FO knows it I go back to @Lost_In_Translation 2 year plan idea I think we attack this offense big time this offseason and this team could be scary for all of you expecting big changes I just don’t see it happening I’m sorry but this team is trending up not down

According to Jamison Hensley: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco said he expects Marty Mornhinweg to remain offensive coordinator. "Our relationship continues to grow," Flacco said.
That's about what I expected. First of all I can't imagine Joe just saying "I expect my OC to be fired tomorrow." I doubt if they even tell the players early.

Second of all, has John Harbaugh ever fired an OC at the end of the season? I know Cam was let go just before the playoffs and Marty took over when Trestman was fired midseason. Am I missing someome?
Wait a minute... has Harbs fired anyone on Black Monday (or there abouts)?

The loss sucked major ass but i don’t think this season was ending with a super bowl anyway a playoff run yes but not a super bowl

The order would come from Steve, not "Harbs".

Harbs fired Cam and he fired Trestman.

And that tells you that Harbaugh made the ultimate decision, which is incorrect. As his immediate supervisor he will announce it yes.

It seemed like the Players were pumped before the game. Literally last week they were talking up about how they need to take care of business. I remember Brandon Williams talking a lot about it and I also remember him getting blocked out 1v1 and doing nearly nothing in the pass rush.
Against one of the worst o lines in the NFL ....

I shiver to think what this team will pay CJ mosely after seeing what they paid b.williams. Heck if we had aaron donald we'd probably give him 300 million

Brandon Williams played like an utter joke. I think we should've let him go in favor of Pierce and our run game couldn't have been worse. If we had kept Jernigan instead at least we could've had some interior pass rush along with Pierce and Henry.

It will be an absolute nightmare if we retain Marty. I hope Flacco is just being nice

It's happening. JFC what do you people not get? He isn't gone until Harbaugh is. Just like us promoting Wink. It's inevitable Mr. Anderson.

No playoffs for three years and we lose at home to the Bengals with playoffs on the line? If I'm Bisciotti, the entire coaching staff is as good as gone, save Greg Roman and our OL coach. The OL is the only unit that exceeded expectations this year. I'm amazed at how well we did on the line with the scrubs we had at guard.

Another thing

We talk about no playoffs in 4 out of the last 5 years..if KC didn't do us a favor ( and they didnt even need to as they were already in the playoffs) we'd have not made it in 5 out of 5.

the fact of that matter is that without cap space we cannot fill our team the way we want to.

I remember there was OL coach Andy Moeller in 2013, but I don't think that was even over the godawful OL play that year because iirc he'd leaked to Mike Preston that the Cheetahs managed to read our play calls because Michael Oher and Eugene Monroe were giving them away with their pre-snap stances.

There's loyalty to your guys, and then there's Harbaugh. In a lot of ways I don't mind it, but I'd be willing to put a lot of money on Marty staying on as OC and even though I was livid about it last year I think I'm just numb to the whole thing by now. It'll be the same if we promote Martindale despite the current options for DC.

With the injuries Harbaugh had to deal with his job is likely secure. Which is stupid, but it is what it is. Marty is staying and Wink is going to be promoted.

If it were me running the team, Harbaugh’s ass would be out the door and I’d pay a boatload of money to Teryl Austin whilst promoting Roman to OC.

Harbaugh is gonna be around for awhile. Get used to it.

Einstein’s definition of insanity. What I’ve been saying all along

Idk honestly I’m fine with Marty as our OC. The offense picked it up the last several games and the playcalling got better. Not his fault we had no WR left. There were still some insane playcalls that pissed me off, but its whatever. Not the end of the world if he stays. We better fucking draft some offense though.

Remember when perriman said when asked who he models his game on, he said

''Julio Jones''.

just thought we need another laugh
