The 2022 Offseason Thread

I think Ken does some great work but the bias certainly seeps in. Things that he values often get those bump ups in the grades. I know all grading is subjective of course.

yeah not to disparage him - he's got an interesting perspective - but he definitely gets stuck on certain things

Linderbaum for sure for me.. it dnt even matter if he is a guaranteed probowler… id still rather take the risk with pickens
Bruh what?! It does matter if Linderbaum is a guaranteed Pro Bowler and All-Pro. Trenches are far more important. But I understand why people want Pickens. Sucks WHEN he becomes the next great Steeler WR.

A little footnote in the article from the Ravens that Ar'Darius Washington is back practicing too

yeah that's a little surprising to me - but i guess maybe they dont want him on PUP - gonna be tough to make it on the roster but maybe after a year off with an injury and having not played a snap, they think he'll make it through waivers and onto the PS/don't really care if he gets sniped off the PS

alternatively kyle fuller's had such an awful time that they want to add more competition to the slot corner spot

or im overthinking this and an injured guy just happened to get healthy and it's no more complicated than that

the JK note at the end is pretty nice too - Harbs said JK would be taking 2 days off so that they could assess how his leg dealt with the few days of practice he'd done the week before and they'd go from there - the fact that he's back practicing straight away after those 2 days is a really promising sign

WIth 2 guys coming off of PUP, that leaves Bowser, Edwards, and Stanley left. We already know Edwards isn't going to be ready so we're down to the 2 most unknown. We've heard positive reports of both Bowser and Stanley but nothing definitive.

i think we know enough about bowser and stanley to assume that they're not going to be on PUP entering the season at least - even if they don't play straight away they'll likely be carried on the 53 - most recent timeline we heard had them in line for some form of a return some time in the next 1-2 weeks (before the end of August) and that to play in week 1 they'd likely need a 2-3 week ramp up period (per Harbs)

wiley and jackson both cut but most of these guys had injuries that kept them out of thursday

corey clement is the only other guy really who was healthy last practice who's on this list

i cant read the article but the gist is enough lol - i didnt realise that Faalele was here the whole time

He'd be wise to. Look at what we just did wotlih Orlando. That could be him of he outs the work in. He'll we might keep him depending on how Stanley plays out from here and Daniel's progress.

Trenches are important but how much does a probowl center really matter over a decent wr? We would be better off with a decent center and decent wr than an all pro center imo.

exactly how I thought. Figured if he was on PUP he'd have a better chance of making the roster, but atleast he can practice now, so there is that also.
