OK, and I live in rival cities too. Just ignore them. It's really not that hard. You guys get so worked up and treat games like "must wins" because a couple friends talk shit. Who cares.I live in Cincinnati
Yea on a personal level it’s the game I care about most, but honestly if we’re looking at it from the Ravens perspective it should be the damn game they have circled too. Yea it’s gonna be hard to get up for the Giants game if they lose this one and the Bills game.OK, and I live in rival cities too. Just ignore them. It's really not that hard. It's not a must win. It's a "nice to win".
I don't think it'll be hard to get up for any game after a loss. If it is, then they shouldn't be playing, and we shouldn't care.Yea on a personal level it’s the game I care about most, but honestly if we’re looking at it from the Ravens perspective it should be the damn game they have circled too. I guess we can just go back to debating analytics and snap counts for Prosche
The schedule softens for sure, I didn’t mean the team I meant myself and maybe some of the fanbase who will be letdown after another loss in a big game. It’s such a big game if we can win it, it sets us up nicely for a big run of stacking winsI don't think it'll be hard to get up for any game after a loss. If it is, then they shouldn't be playing, and we shouldn't care.
I see plenty of scenarios where we lose to Cincy and truck the Giants by 20+. I see plenty of scenarios where we lose to the Bengals and lose maybe 1-2 more times the rest of the year.
Look it's just an overreaction to them having any relevance at all. They've been only marginally better than the Browns for the last 2 decades. They've finally got Burrow and win some games so they're riding their high. Ravens fans are fortunate enough to never expect a losing season. Same usually can't be said for them
5 years in a row at one point
Fuck em. I go and talk a little shit on an opponents content creators videos, and I love how disappointed they all are when I genuinely don’t give a fuck when they talk shit back after they beat us lol. I had to leave a few shrug emojis on a few bills videos since SundayYou guys spend way too much time worrying about what other fanbases say. I couldn't give a shit less.
3rd Super Bowlthey're good and went to a superbowl for the first time and suddenly dont know how to act
but you simply cannot ignore nearly 30 years without a playoff win3rd Super Bowl
My bad I missed it, I was skeptical of the methodology myself. I assume it’s along the lines of Qty versus replacement level lost. ie, Titan fans arguing they had it worse than us last year when if you measure quality lost it wasn’t even closeOk here's this tweet again, but I thought I debunked this yesterday
For me, it's not about who I don't fear but who I don't trust. That's this Ravens team and especially the defense that has failed to close out games when the offense jumps out to a lead. Sure, the offense needs to continue to score but the defense shouldn't be collapsing per se with a 35-14 lead in the 4th quarter or a 20-3 lead by halftime. That type of stuff has to be unacceptable! Whenever I see the same issues persisting from game to game or every other game (i.e., vs the Dolphins and Bills) that means that there is a major underlying issue that will rear its ugly head at the most inopportune time. This game against the Bengals will solidify for me whether or not the Ravens have turned the proverbial corner concerning "fixing" their so-called, "fixable" issues. Sure, it's a long season, etc, etc, etc. But playing the way that they have played in these first 4 games means that the Ravens will come up on the short end of that long season. For me, Bills game only confirmed what I was pretty sure... we're one of the best teams in the NFL. I'm sure we'll lose more games too, but there's nobody I fear at this point. Buffalo is pretty much the gold standard for how to build an NFL team right now, and they beat us on a last second FG after being down by 17 points.
I'm not concerned. I'd like to see us close some of these games out against better teams, but I think it'll happen soon enough. I'm not saying anybody debilitating personnel issues that basically can't be fixed.
My prediction... we'll head into December at either 7-4 or 8-3. And December/January doesn't look particularly scary to me at the moment. I think we're heading into week 4 of the toughest 4 game stretch on our schedule this year.
The defense really isn't in the best shape, but it looks like they are relaxing. That happens when someone is confident of winning, when they already have a big lead in points. This is also called overconfidence. And the opponents take advantage of it The team needs a psychologist and a kickFor me, it's not about who I don't fear but who I don't trust. Its a case of making number say whatever you want. Probably have the most players on IR or out for injury, but quality of players matters more than quantity of players. If you took every single player who's on IR or injured, and put them in the lineup Sunday, but Lamar sits due to injury, are we better or worse off?Ok here's this tweet again, but I thought I debunked this yesterday
