Next Up: @ Bucs

so odd that we've not got many primetime games this year but 2 of them are against the NFC South against teams we have no real obvious connection or rivalry with lol - nor that many fun storylines...

odd choices
And the funny part? The last time we played the Saints in New Orleans? Was ALSO on Monday Night Football. And it was AFTER the BYE week in 2014.

If we’re going to go that route, we’ll need our defense and run game both to take a massive step forward.
We would, right now it's frustrating because we're dropping back against 7 in coverage with 3 pass catchers running routes on a lot of plays. You're just not going to be able to throw with much success against that. If we're able to run the football we would see much less defenders one drop back plays. I hope Kenyan Drake can get it going again, also Hill as well. Love what I saw from Gus last game.

Ravens vs Brady I guess. Similar to Bucs vs Giants being a prime time last year.

How many of you all ended up getting tickets for Thursday? Ravens fans always show out for away games going to be a good time.

I mean its a week to week league. Very rarely does what you saw last week carry over into another week. You guys are ready to burn the place down after every loss anyway, so this one would be no different.

Frankly, I kind of expect to lose. Short week, road game, against a defense that stops the run pretty well, and against a team coming off a big letdown game. Pretty much any NFL script you'll see has TB bouncing back in this game and playing well.
See, that's what I see as well but not just due to the short week, etc., but because of this; W, L, W, L, W, L, W cycle the team is on. So, guess which one is up next? That "L". Hopefully they can break through and double up on the "W's". If so, it would be a pleasant surprise to me.

Yep.. soon as i saw schedule, i marked this as the only for sure L.. even with bucs playing like shit, i still expect us to lose.. hope im wrong

So the question is... do you think the Ravens are up to the task of beating the Bucs? Brady and the Bucs suck ass right now and that's a fact, but to believe that's all there is to it is incredibly naive. That team could explode any moment. If that happens I don't believe the Ravens have a shot especially when your QB is being so careless with the football.

You guys can complain all you want about Zach Wilson and for the most part I would agree. However, Zach does NOT turn the football over. Very, VERY little at least since late season. That's the reason why the Jets have now won 4 straight. The Jets play good defense, they play smashmouth football on offense, and they ask Zach to simply manage the game. Not turning the ball over is HUGE and it can't be underemphasized.

IMO, if the Ravens want to start being considered a legit SB contender you need LJ to stop being so careless with the football. Even then, I'm not sure that's enough to beat a fully functional Bucs team but it's an excellent start.....

Lets revisit the whole "Wilson doesn't turn the football over" thing in about 6 weeks. I'm highly confident that statement won't be accurate at that point.

The moment your running game falls apart without Breece Hall and your in obvious passing downs more often, Wilson will likely throw a lot of interceptions. Hopefully your trade can mitigate that from happening but who knows.

Mr. 5-2 gets more cocky and condescending each and every week
