Lamar Jackson

The thing is - that number only exists in your head.
And I don't know the reason why it's there.
Not really , the Watson deal set the precedent at 230, so anything in the 230-250 range makes sense(at least in Lamar’s eyes)

The mocks with Anthony Richardson to Ravens are hilarious. Would be worst case scenario. As a gators fan I’m comfortable admitting that dude is Cam Newton lite and needs a TON of development before he’s NFL ready.

Yeah but the Watson deal was for 5 years, not 4. You’d be talking 10 mil higher/yr.
Lamar is so much better than el demonio. But he still doesn't deserve it. I have just heard that number thrown out there too many times. Lamar might deserve 4 years 200m, but I consider that a stretch. No way for 250

Eventually we will have the conversation about how shitty these contracts really are.

Well think of all the money that could be going to the homeless people on the streets. the highest paid player in the NWSL gets paid less than the minimum salary of an NFL player.

I hate when people bring up the homeless or needy when it comes to contracts and players. The beef is never ever with the entity that actually cuts the checks lol.

NFL is a multi-billion dollar non profit

lol exactly. "These millionaires don't deserve these contracts" as they pay 15 dollars for a beer in a new stadium owned by a billionaire paid for by the city

The homeless are the government's responsibility and have no bearing on the contracts of professional athletes or other high-profile professions. When people bring that up the first thought that comes to my mind is: "How much of your own money are you "presently" giving to the homeless right now?"

Well maybe jerry jones could donate a couple mil to a charity

I kinda thought he would really benefit from an extra year in Gainesville.
