You can quote me and at least own it because I've never said Lamar was without fault. I just said that I think his game is better than given credit for and that given the circumstances, I'm not worried.

I don't know that he was, but the reason I meme so hard on Tank and go to bat so hard for Lamar when Tank is around is because of how much people got defensive and nasty about Flacco.

And I absolutely loved Flacco. He is the man for bringing a ring to Baltimore. But, he just stopped playing well in 2016 and by late 2016, I couldn't defend it anymore.

I will be fair and say that much like Flacco, I will go to bat for Lamar, hard, as I would any Ravens player that I think is a cornerstone for the team.

These are facts. I remember the moment you and I started to say we should draft a QB was the 2017 draft class. I know because that was the first year I started to look at QBs again.

Jesus Is the only perfect human, everyone misses opportunities every qb, but as far im aware he missed one to andrews and aghlor no reason to try and bring him down so far im mainly seeing lamar fans and lamar haters

I was really high on Watson (glad this didn't work out...) and thought he'd slide into Ravens range. I was intrigued by Mahomes.

Side note: I was probably the only person to correctly hammer the table for Marlon Humphrey. I remember I did a mock draft that had him going to the Ravens and it was like -50. Also, if you wanna see me go to bat for other Ravens, not just Lamar, go look at how I have historically talked about Humphrey. I go to bat for Ravens players.

In 2018, I figured the Ravens would snag a QB because they were apparently super high on Baker and Josh Allen. As soon as they traded up, I knew it was for Lamar.

This chart also says that Lamar has the fifth most catchable passes thrown this year, which isn't shocking given he has a completion percent near 70%.

Again, Lamar may not be having a superhuman 2019 again, but he's damn sure not the Ravens biggest worry offensively.

Oh, he won't be. That year he caught the league off-guard with his abilities, speed, and skills to run that rock. Not anymore! The entire league knows what and who Lamar is now. He needs those other so-called "weapons" around him to be just that-weapons, in order to keep defenses on their heels. This last game, there were no real deep deep shots taken and it pissed me off. Sitting at M&T Bank this past weekend I saw the same old offense, one that struggles is inept, lethargic, and downright anemic. Mediocre.

He's like you, but more extreme.

I feel like you get annoyed that people are so positive on Lamar in what you perceive to be every situation, so you overcorrect with how critical you are.

And I want to clarify this because you're usually super critical, but people are generally able to point out their opposite side and have a reasonable discussion and meet in the middle.

Tank just hates Lamar because Lamar took over for Joe. He had an unabashed love for Joe and has a real hate boner for Lamar, so plenty of people like to meme him.
