Lamar Jackson

Lamar is already better than Tyrod. Ive always liked Tyrod but he showed in his first few games as a Brown that he isn’t a starting QB in the nfl. He had excuses on the bills for never playing great but he absolutely shit the bed to start the season and held the browns back.
Taylors first season in Buffalo was pretty good, but ever since than it wasn't much.

Well I think you are both al ittle waco right now if you ask me. Neither are in the top 12 at the moment and only LJ has the chance to ever get into the top 12 in Baltimore....

Like I said. The best thing about Lamar to me is he opens up the door for the team to build properly. I'm most excited to see how the team goes about their business this off season than I really am about the rest of this year. The next 2 years are huge.

I know we’re not talking draft stock here, but where did you have him in the draft? I had him as an easy top 20

Before people take my 10-12 reference seriously, I WAS JOKING. I don't watch a lot of college ball. Just started really getting into it this year. I don't know how to rate players, but I fully understand why it was worth it to move up for him. Can't give you where I ranked him because I didn't have any idea where he should go.

That said I did watch a decent amount of him because my friend told me about him a couple years ago. This run first non sense was always funny to me because it was usually by design and mostly when plays broke down. He's looking to throw and that's what gives me hope about him, but I don't think he will be some messiah. Hope he can provide consistency at the position and help lead us through the next generation of Ravens ball successfully.

Just ease up a bit on the gushing adoration, the kid has started one game.

Show my gushing adoration. Please show me where I posted something making him out to be the next top 5 qb or where I "implied" it. I would love to see your evidence. You had no problem quoting me prior so it shouldn't be difficult to find me showering him with praise and hyping him up.

To me, it was EXTREMELY obvious it was a joke. You’ve gotta be careful, lots of people on here wouldn’t be able to sense sarcasm if it hit them in the face

Maybe I’m putting Joe a little high. Even if I put Newton and Stafford over him I think it’s too soon for me to put Tribisky or Watson over him. Can we all compromise at 15-16?

If you have an opinion and can back it up, do you. My problem is when people start with attacking you because of it. You can tell when it goes from debate to someone getting snarky. I've also realized there are just some people you'll never see to eye to eye with so it's best to just be civil and keep it moving. You're good in my book even if we don't agree on this.
