With the exception of all the bad qualities you cite of Jordan, the on field make up regarding the will to win, making teammates play hard and better and ridiculous talent that is always the best on any given field makes the similarities compelling. Both were incredibly charismatic in that you couldn't peel your eyes off of them and left a game wanting more.

Both were ridiculously competitive but showed it in different ways. Both are once in a lifetime athletes in that they'll always be the gold standard by which similar athletes will be measured in their respective sports in time. Finally I think both MJ and LJ are always adding to their repertoire of skills with a desire to constantly evolve and improve their respective games.

Like we saw with Jordan adding the pull up jumper that was almost indefensible, Lamar's passing has improved by leaps and bounds as has his uncanny football smarts where he's seeing the field like a wily veteran already.

Jordan debts had nothing to do with his father death. Thats just the media way of bringing people down. Nothing wrong with gambling neither nor staying out all night lol. He punch a teammate in the face for reason, it just wasnt like he walked up to him and did for no reason. Idk about the cheating part though. I think he’ll get the big deal too and I think whatever company he signs with will incorporate his “new era 8 / wild dog” element into whatever line they develop for him. What he’s doing now is nice but that tweet from Christmas Day where he’s apparently spending it in the office literally packing and shipping shirts and hoodies could be multiplied by the thousands with the production capacity and logistics network of any of the big 3 and all he’ll have to do is focus on football. I’ll say that now that he’s reached this point I wish he had a reputable agency working for him because this is all going through the roof very quickly. My fear in what he’s currently doing is the all too common story with athletes, actors and musicians where family or friends are thrust into management positions and end up robbing the meal ticket blind because of their blind trust and business inexperience.

Yes, I know she’s been his acting manager but she is one person and can only handle so much. Maybe it worked coming into the league but there’s no way she’s experienced enough to handle what’s coming and there will be vultures and sharks circling. That’s what you pay an agency for imo and it constitutes a large part of their value. It’s not just to negotiate on your behalf and handle the legal framework of your deals and obligations, but to shield you from pitfalls and snakes that materialize with fame and fortune.

Indeed. He is a genetic formula of 3 players imho. Rodgers, Manning and Barry Sanders. He is learning to throw like his GOAT Rodgers, process defenses like Manning and run the ball like Barry Sanders. That is a lethal combo for any defense! Thanks Ice Bowl as always.
