Lamar Jackson

I know he doesn't want to negotiate during the season but it would be great if EDC and Lamar could bang out a contract during the bye. Imagine the weight of Lamar's shoulders while also presenting a clear sight picture for EDC going into the offseason. Give him a 6 year 240M full guaranteed and lets keep the positive vibes rolling.

I was thinking the same thing. This bye gives them an additional 2 weeks to hammer it out. Not saying that it will, but I hope it happens!

Skip Baylis was talking about Lamar and his contract and he said something that hit home for me. He said, “the players love him and will run through walls for him.” I love him and it would kill me to see him go to another team. If I was EDC…..yeah, I would pay him him guaranteed money and just pray he stays healthy.

We criticize Lamar when he's not playing to the standards of greatness we expect him to. One thing we can't question? How awesome he is off the field. Yes, @Ellicottraven , you raised an awesome son! LOL.
The problem is, people don't appreciate enough all the great stuff he does for the team on the field. No D plays comfortably against us, he changes the way they think and play.

Fuck 300 passing yards a game. Give me those 3rd down conversions any Sunday instead.

And if you notice, none of the defenders seem eager to deliver a huge hit to him. Yes, the rules do hinder defenders from doing so, but for the most part, they just have respect for him if that makes sense.

Lamar unlocking the quick swing pass / check down to Kenyan Drake…
